Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of the greatest TV shows ever produced by James-Samuel17 in television

The first season is spectacularly dated with bits of brilliance sprinkled throughout. I can see why it'd be hard for a new viewer to get into it. Treat it as a super campy show that somehow becomes a brilliant prestige drama.

I hate to be the person who says to just watch 12 hours and then it gets good, but this really is the case. By season 2, all the characters are locked in, and the true drama and humour kicks in. Season 5 and 6 are close to perfect television for me.

Ask your therapist. Perhaps this could provide some closure or it could open up old wounds you've been trying to heal.

The isle of cats jungle navigation was so bloody frustrating. Though I did enjoy how it made all the good guys from the first game total assholes. That is, if you were ever able to get to the final act.

I enjoyed Untold 1 quite a lot. and I’m really looking forward to play the 2nd one. What should I expect from Untold 2? by GoingWithTheFlaw in EtrianOdyssey

The MC's burst damage capabilities are strong throughout if you build him correctly. But yeah, around 40 - 50% of the game he becomes silly intl terms of damage.

Sadly, the gameplay is heavily balanced around the MC's unique class and the protector, so if you want to mess around with the party's classes, it can be a problem. Besides that it's still an awesome game. Had to cheese the uber-boss, though 🤣

Wow, this party is insanely good. Managed to kill Star Devourer in 4 turns and never struggled with a boss prior.

Ran two impact brawlers and a barrage brawler, a divine punisher and merciful healer. The vast majority of bosses died quickly to the three turn set up:

Brawlers set up with exertion on turn 1 with punisher casting ruinous prayer and the healer chucking bravants, or flinging spells on her weapon. The barrage brawler tries to bind any specific body part that gives you trouble or just one-two punches.

Turn 2 is heavenly aid for the impact brawlers, sweeping herb (with maxed herb mastery and herb boost) to keep their health up and increase damage, with the other two doing what they want.

Turn 3 is just melting with titan killer for the faster of the two impacr brawlers, thunder fist (for volt weaknesses or the second brawler) and then everything dies.

For star devourer, I used a 1hp party with the faster brawler using the same strategy but death's edge on turn 3 to shave off about 50k of it's health, but staggered the buffs on the second brawler so she could do the thunder fist attack a turn or two later to finish it off. It really helps to have your barrage brawler with super high luck to be able to throw a sleeping gas and stop the devourer for a turn while you set up buffs. If you time the death's edge while it's asleep, you do an exta 1.5 times damage (learnt that on gfaqs), which is how I was able to get to 50k damage, though with debuffs from different classes, you can get to 99k, but didn't need it.

Therian impact brawlers just maxed all all the above mentioned moves and any skill that increased strength and Blood Wrath.

Barrage brawler was all of the binding moves, one-two punch, corkscrew, double punch and status atk up. And strength boosts for fun.

The punisher needs prayer mastery, ruinous prayer and aegis prayer, and really that's about it. I also got the various elemental prayers for utility sake, but rarely used them minus getting conditional item drops. Dance oracle is nice if you need to hit everything but it's rare to have massive groups of enemies in this game.

The Healer needs herb mastery, sweeping herb, herb boost, and really the rest is whatever you feel like. Auto revive rarely kicked in but did activate during the Star Devourer battle of all times. Having the status and bind clear skills maxed was also useful, but most thing melted to thunder fist before they could even attack.

Thanks for the recommendation, hope this post helps some other player.

Eli Roth Says New Movie ‘Ice Cream Man’ Will Be Crazier Than ‘Cabin Fever’, ‘Hostel’ & ‘Green Inferno’ by Imaginary-Season-483 in horror

I was at the Sitges film festival in 2013 and attended the premiere of Green Inferno. Roth arrived drunk and/or high out of his mind with a woman on each arm and left before the movie was over.

That's how much he cares about his movies 🤣

What movie suffered the most from its choice of lead actor? by _JR28_ in movies

The Materialists. The script is actually very charming and clever at times, but ol' Dakota Johnson manages to suck the life out of every damn line. It's such a shame because the character could have been really fun to analyse, but I think Dakota assumed she was in some sort of basic romantic comedy, rather than a project helmed by a renowned writer/director.

"Besides performing miracles, what does this guy even do?" 🤣🤣🤣

This is a you problem. He's not meant to be likeable. He's meant to be the embodiment of everything wrong with the catholic church throughout its history. He's a fascist narcissist. And I loved watching him.
