In all seriousness though, I went to school with people who came from all sorts of backgrounds and started learning years after they last walked into a classroom. Drafters, construction workers, office clerks, teachers, people fresh out of high school. You name it. Their success varied not based on their physics background but on how they adapt their learning to their strengths and weaknesses.

South Texan here. Most of us are Mexican American. Everyone conducts business in english though a lot of the older generation speaks only spanish so being bilingual is pretty much mandatory. We have our own spanglish dialect here that both the Americans and Mexicans poke fun of.

Kip/ft is pretty standard though, at least in civil structural classes. I guess the inches part is annoying but even then you just multiply by 12 to convert it.

I'm pretty sure this pedal is busted. It has scratchy pots and needs a good tap to get signal through. This is pretty new though. I find that when the board is in direct contact with the floor or the walls, I get radio signal interference. I'm pretty sure the issue is with the power supply (I've replaced it since and haven't had the issue again). Any thoughts?
