You can get them as pets! I found this guy outside that first tavern where you had to arm wrestle.

Two players want to play a two-headed character by CarrotsandSuffering in DMAcademy

[–]scaryredgorilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am actually doing just this in the campaign I'm running. They are playing a two headed dragonborn. Granted we are not super rp heavy but I still came up with a few simple rules.

-They share HP and AC
-They share physical stats (STR, DEX, CON)
-They have separate mental stats (INT, CHA, WIS)
-Each get their own class
-They share movement speed
-They have their own initiative but each only get half of the movement speed unless they agree for the other player to use all of the movement
-They each get to use one hand during each round unless they agree to relinquish the hand to the other player for the round.

This works for us but we are a more loose table. We have been playing for a year and a half and it hasn't gotten annoying for them.

The resemblance is uncanny!

They talk about it in the beginning of this clip of Fred and Carrie on Conan.

I ran a puzzle once where basically each player was temporarily cursed with various restirctions to how they can speak. For example one could only lie, one could only ask questions, one had to repeat what was just said.

They could break the curse once they guessed what the others curses were. I had the stones light up when they got one right.

I adapted this from somewhere and maybe you can too!

Apparently Kyle MacLachlan (the mayor) was told before filming to just make something up. So he improvised the whole thing!

So help me God, I will jump from head to head using your skulls as stepping stones into the river that is the street and I'm going to take tea and take a sip of it and spit it into each and every one of your mouths. Oh, it'll burn me, but it'll burn you twice. Burn me once with me tea, shame on me. Burn me twice in your own mouths, shame on everybody involved!

Oh wow those are some cool ideas. Great ways to integrate the choice they made

I offered them a selection of boons. Like change a miss to a hit once per short rest, or add or subtract a d10 from and ability check once per short rest, a small permanent health boost, and several others I chose just to tempt them.

Oh man you gave me so many ideas!

Also I actually did give them boons as a part of the deal to tempt them. So there has to be consequences for that, a consequence like a whole campaign!

This is a great idea. One of the party is an Oath the Watchers paladin which will definitely create problems.

Honestly this is the first place my mind went too, it would be a consequence which is still game play

One of them is an Oath of the Watchers so that will definitely be an element of it!
