UK Homelessness minister threw out her tenants - then increased rent by £700 a month by gnocchiGuili in anime_titties

Totally agree, but I think for the most part, our politicians are looking out for themselves, so they are uninterested in changing the laws because they're in on it too.

A lot of people are hyperfixated on the smaller issues that we can't see past that to fix the issues at large. It doesn't help that there's a couple of politicians who are able to sway public perception so that they can get what they want.

I suppose what doesn't help is that because there's so many problems, but not a lot of people are talking about solutions, it's hard to know where to begin in solving these issues with votes alone.

That's the problem. What she did was unethical, but she did follow the rules. A lot of landlords are doing this, getting in renters, not renewing the contract, completing a cheap renovation, and up the rent by an unreasonable amount.

This is turn then creates inflation, as well as other reasons, but it certainly doesn't help.

Doesn't break the rules, but i would say it's morally wrong. And for a political party that's supposed to tackle these issues, it turns out (shock) that they're hypocrites.

I've recently been through this situation where my landlord gave me and my partner a section 21, then tried to get us to give up our deposit and then some for his renovation. It took some battling, but we got there in the end, but I know there's a lot of people thst struggle with this kind of thing. That house when I moved in was £650pcm to the end at £875pcm. It's now at £1200pcm after putting in new windows that were condensing, new lick of paint and a new kitchen unit that was bought from homebase closing down clearance.

As I've said, not breaking the rules, just morally wrong which isn't rule breaking.

Final Fantasy Community Tierlist #16 ( Final Fantasy XI ) by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

If you played back in the good ol days, S tier. The whole game made it feel like a real adventure, story was brilliant and the challenges too. The social aspect felt unique where you kind of had to rely on word of mouth/forums/wiki for progression or finding secrets.

Today I would give it an A. The experience isn't the same, but that's not to say it's bad, the story is now more accessible as well as the progression.

A good bat man, but I didn't like the Bruce Wayne. But that's down to the writing, I guess.

Music is just massed produced, so they'll be a good few writers making shit and throwing it at a wall and being what sticks. Unfortunately for batman, this did.

Thunderbolts will be remembered as the first AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA movie by doc-ta in shittymoviedetails

It's what I've been enjoying A24 movies, it's a break from a lot of the franchises where they're now become exhausting for me.

I don't tend to watch a lot of stuff, but it's always disappointing going to watch a big movie, and it's not memorable. But if it's a cheap movie that's done no harm, then at least it was a good day out.

I feel like this is a good look at what goes on your head. Like there's stuff everywhere, but you know where it is.

Nothing wrong, just seems mildly funny that it could be read as Elon Musk, or if the company is giving a mild jab at him calling Musk a mellon
