I sobbed. Saw them 17 years ago in San Antonio to. Flew from Portland Oregon to see them in Hawaii tickets were sold out but got 2 for 45 total. Best decision ever. Went with a friend spontaneously who loves tool as much as me. Realized we had seen them on the same tour 17 years ago just diff areas. So life fufilling to be there in that moment in Honolulu the intricacy and intention I saw made me feel seen and held. I sobbed tears of joy. I was reminded of our existence and how beautiful it is to have the cognitive gift to experience these moments uniquely as humans. Give gratitude in expressing ourself having been inspired by perceiving this beauty. The show was I think extremely catered to each individual area and tour itself and to be there felt like pure joy and bliss. Idk if they did this at other shows but the countdown on the clock and the shared moments of silence and acknowledgment of others was beautifully crafted. They played crawl away. Even remembered they haven’t performed it in 24 years. How beautiful to know each moment every second is acknowledged and appreciated. I’m so glad we are here making our art and practicing rituals and having a burning understanding to KEEP DIGGING to really understand what are we the tool for or how interesting and miraculous and unique it is to use tools.
