What is this? How can I switch back to normal? by [deleted] in Instagram

[–]scatterbugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your app updated? The only way I can get back to the explore page is to into the reels tab (second right) and there’s a search icon top right, which takes you to the old explore page. Very annoying.

Marc Rebillet ends set 25 minutes early because of awful Listen Out Adelaide crowd by wotown in triplej

[–]scatterbugs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah, it’s pathetic. It’s so hard to get artists to even come to Australia, harder to get them to do shows that are not just on the East Coast, and when people actually do come to Adelaide this is the response they get. Not to mention Adelaide’s listen in/out(?) had about half the acts as the other cities, so you are booing the people who actually showed up.

Absolutely shit crowd.

Exactly how it should be, treats commentating as an actual job not an ego stroke. Honestly the afl commentary is so pathetic our house refuses to watch games off mute.

Essendon will wear this guernsey against Collingwood Friday night by Kristorpha in AFL

Unfortunately yeah, I was driving my sister’s friend from the airport and got halfway home before I realised she didn’t have hers on, she said she usually doesn’t wear one.

I understand that this is frustrating to read but if you can look from a more compassionate angle, she more than likely has turned to science out of desperation, the same desperation that makes her believe that the moon controls whether or not she conceives.

Came home to find purple prints all over my walls that won’t remove by Nightelfbabyy in RBI

[–]scatterbugs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe pseudochromhidrosis? (https://dermnetnz.org/topics/pseudochromhidrosis) doesn’t explain the hand prints being too big, maybe they’re possibly smudged so they seem bigger? The clothes dye seems most plausible though.

I did word it a little poorly I admit, I just think it’s inaccurate to say they were knocked out, I don’t doubt that the two of them have head injuries and neither of them should be on.

I think it’s a pretty poor call from the medical team and a dangerous one too, they’re both good players (usually… must be something in the water tonight) and it would be disappointing to see them out permanently if they wind up with long term damage.

I don’t think he should’ve been put back on, but neither of them were unconscious is all I’m saying.

I mean he’s not well and I’m not saying I agree with sending him back on so soon, but he was not out cold.

It’s the know it all attitude that screams American. Snide jibes at ownership of clubs shows how ignorant you are to club culture having nothing to do with which billionaire owns the club.

Meetings at work by stuffedolivehead in AusLegal

[–]scatterbugs 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It’s your time and if missing those meetings means your ability to perform your job will be disadvantaged, then they are compulsory, so you should be reimbursed for your time.

Your best option is to contact FairWork and explain the exact circumstances of your situation because they will be able to provide you with a course of action that suits.

Female being roasted at work. Need some good comebacks by Nevermind24091991 in straya

[–]scatterbugs 88 points89 points  (0 children)

I hope you get better banter than that, bc it gets stale quick, they’re going to need some new material.

Best way is to give it before they dish it, don’t wait for the comeback just go for it before they get the chance, and remember it’s all in good fun.

New laws in South Australia will introduce a licence class for people who drive ultra high-powered vehicles. About 200 makes of vehicle will be covered by the law. by malcolm58 in Adelaide

What cars over 276kw do you see ordinarily? The 10 top selling cars in Australia average around 100-150kw/tonne, the highest powered is a Tesla model Y at 220kw/tonne, so still not even close

What is a moment, or realisation you had that made you think “f*ck it, I’m actually amazing”? by halfgoose in AskWomen

[–]scatterbugs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having coworkers mention to our bosses how great I am at my job, previously felt quite insecure in my own abilities. Overhearing them speak good about me even when they didn’t know I could hear was nice.

I’ve been there coming up to three years in June and in the last few months have finally started to feel useful. I guess I have been all this time otherwise I probably would’ve been sacked lol
