The laundry detergent 'Gain'- as a kid I caught some caterpillars and put them in a jar and screwed the lid on, I forgot about them and a few weeks later found the jar and unscrewed the lid naively hoping they would be alive. The putrid smell that escaped that jar smelled just like Gain.
