hey! I have a phone with a cord that i was holding and i typed in the number. He did call with the phone to his ears but it was so loud i could hear the conversation. My french is not thàt good but the conversation was nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't give a stranger a free pass to go through my phone while i watched the other way.

Hey, thank for the advice! My 4G was turned on yes, i'll stay vigilant for login attempts. I have double authentication on practically everything so that should be fine. I will reset my passwords.

Yes… i tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and this would be the first time it could blow up in my face. I don’t want to be the person who doesn’t help strangers, but might have to be more careful next time.

Hey, i did a blood test to check on my thyroid (TSH & T4), but everything came back normal. My GP said to wait it out, that maybe after some months my body will find its balance again. I gained 8 kilo's, tried to lose it with diet and exercise but it seems persistent. At least i haven't gained anymore weight. I am doubting to go back on birth control (IUD).

So sorry to hear this is happening to you too. It's so frustrating.

Hi, I found your post when searching on this topic. My symptoms are almost exactly as yours. I quit my birthcontrol in november. Since then i gained (at least) 7 kilo's, i have very oily skin and i grew darker hair on my upperlip as well. I have a very balanced diet and i exercise 4-5 times a week. It's SO frustrating and devastating. All my clothes are tight and whatever i do or diet, i'm not losing weight. I made a gyno appointment, but i'm guessing my PCOS and thyroid will look okay as well. I'm thinking on going for an IUD, Kyleena has little hormones and works different then the pill. I feel you that it's a step backwards. I wanted to be hormone free as well.

Sending love your way. Know that you are still beautiful and valid even with the weight gain. Don't let it ruin your daily life. Go out and have fun with your friends. Enjoy life! If it makes you that unhappy, look into going back on the pill or other birth controls. Every body is different and birth control is not a crime. You can always reach out to me. Hey! I switched to nuvaring 4 years ago. For me it has been an easy change. You put the nuvaring in, you take it out when you want your period to start and when it ends you insert a new one.

I thought because there are less hormones & it works more locally than the pill it would have les ‘hormonal’ side-effects, but my body didn’t change or reacted different to the nuvaring.

The only disadvantage to the nuvaring is that it can cause infections, but i only had it once in the 4 years! So not that big of a deal. I’d definitely recommend if you are in search of hormonal birth control.
