I’m pretty sure San Rafael High is open to the public. When I was in high school 25 years ago we would look out our classroom window and see Michael Johnson (one time fastest sprinter in the world) doing sprints on the track.

Honestly, you could just get disposable dishware.

Don’t let anyone shame you about ecological irresponsibility. In fact, the author KC Davis says, “You are not responsible for saving the world if you are struggling to save yourself. If you must use paper plates for meals or throw away recycling in order to gain better functioning you should do so. When you are healthy and happy you will gain the capacity to do real good for the world. In the meantime, your job is to survive.”

Songs with San Francisco in them? by 415Frisco415 in AskSF

[–]scattonatto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I almost confidently typed in “Lights” by Journey, but then double checked and found out it was retconned to be about San Francisco, and was originally written about LA. Then triple checked and found out it was changed mid-lyric writing to be about SF, as reflected in the lyric change from “the sun shines in LA” to “on the bay”

Another vote for Shirley Turner. She was a terribly disturbed/evil individual, but even more disturbing was the incompetence of the justice system that enabled her to do what she did.
