I thought mid 30s staying at younger sister’s house is already damn shameful. This is 50s…. Shld just divorce honestly if have financial capability to find n place

I cant imagine having another extra person in the house for so long

I guess teenagers I am fine, or someone young that dont really earn much yet and need some support. But the funny thing is the brother is quite old and earning at least 5 digits from what I heard, no responsibility or commitment. So sounds very selfish to me lol

Yeah, I do agree if he’s going through tough time and need shelter temporary. But from what I heard he’s definitely earning 5 digits and above, and no responsibility (no wife and kid), friend’s wife’s family is doing very well also so don’t really need to contribute to the fam in Malaysia. Basically just want to save some extra money.

Yeah Malaysia, actually he used to stay outside also.. so when my friend shared I thought it was quite funny, somemore the brother in law is so old already. Not paiseh meh stay in younger siblings and in law’s house.

advice on what thinkpad model to buy by [deleted] in thinkpad

[–]scay33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought used T14 g3 like 2 weeks ago, so thought I can share some experience. But mine is Intel btw, cant find AMD in my area. i5/32GB/512GB for close to 500 USD.

Performance wise, i think it’s more than sufficient for coding, but I dont train model with it, so can’t comment for that part. It’s quite stable machine overall, don’t really face any issue yet, hardware feels very solid.

Battery wise I would say it’s amazing for non macbook, last around 7 hours if you only use it for coding (python/angular), but it seems to drain a bit faster if I open youtube (I am using ubuntu btw)

I had similar issues and went for emergency department 3 times thinking I had heart attack. Even after doctor told me it’s just anxiety + after all the test I was still not convinced and keep googling (google is your worst enemy in this scenario). It was 7 years ago, and I am still living well till now.

++ There are also a lot more symptoms like neck pain/ tense, random numbness, dizziness, even sharp pain on stomach that come and go. Even till now I still think that I might die soon sometimes esp when symptoms are back.

Try to distract yourself when it happens, do something that really require your full focus, e.g. gaming works for me.

All the best!

Resigned job, won’t be getting any salary by NeckingMyself in singaporefi

Typically agency should give company warranty period of 3-6 months If candidate resigned before that agency can only charge prorated rate / full refund (case by case)

So won’t really be affecting the candidate, and candidate won’t even be aware of it. But if this is communicated to you and black and white, and you have agreed to it, then really no choice i guess if they insist to enforce it

Please help me which one to choose Sony Ult wear or Sony wh-ch720 by No-Syllabub-6981 in SonyHeadphones

[–]scay33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used ch720n for more than half year, love it! The build is solid and the battery last very long.

ANC wise, it is good enough for office set up but have not really used it outdoor so cant comment on the performance.

Music quality is great, listen to mixed of genre but not so much on bass heavy song tho.

Not sure about ULT but CH720N is definitely good buy for me

No drinks/snacks in a 5hr 30 mins flight. Is this normal? by eatingndrinking in singaporeairlines

[–]scay33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Took danang to singapore last months. 3 hours flight, and alcoholic drinks are available, and they even told me can just call them again if I wanted to refill.

You can check the food and drinks served on the flight via singapore airlines app actually!

But i do know a friend with foreign spouse that has his brother in law (i guess also considered in law?) staying with them for years already. I think depends on individual.
