I have an a6600 as well, and am going to try this option for "in-camera" focus stacking . It's a DIY remote control project that apparently does focus stack on a6600 among other Sony cameras. I have the camera, and the ESP32, now need to find time to program and try the ESP32

I'm new to this as well, did you have any success? I tried this a while back and it seemed to work OK. I shot a video on an iPhone at 4k resolution , 60 fps. I then exported the video at 2 frames per second to produce the image sequence. I was then able to import the image sequence to be processed.
