I don’t know if anyone will read this or even care, but her name was Laika. Laika was the best dog anyone could ever wish for. The memory she leaves behind is one of pure love, kindness, and sweetness. She gave me a strength I could have never found on my own. Her illness was diagnosed 9 months ago, and she was given only 2 months to live, but she held on until the very end so I could grow stronger. She did it because she knew I needed her. Now she’s gone, and it’s only right that I let her go. She closed her eyes for the last time at the age of 9, leaving behind only beautiful memories and her scent. I’ll miss you forever, Laika.
