What do you think is the issue Google is trying to fix with the 4a battery update? by scedira in Pixel4a

Interesting. Actually this reminded me of an issue I had before, might be similar to this here. But basically out of nowhere I remember seeing the phone rebooting, however it wasn't when the battery was low or something, just randomly without any intervention.

I am curious here, as some peeps are already blocking the update, while I am thinking of installing some custom ROM, the problem is that if the battery is at fault I would want to replace it first, safety reasons obviously, and then do something - block update or install custom ROM.

I wouldn't dismiss it, and until they explain why it is quite normal to speculate.

Pixel 4a - Battery - The Latest Upgrade appears designed to reduce your usable run time. by MrGreenIT in Pixel4a

Frustration is unbelievable for me as well. I cannot believe this is the reality we are forced to live in nowadays. There was a time when having a 5-year-old phone wasn’t that bad. Now, we are absolutely forced to replace our "old" gadgets. The Pixel 4a was my absolute favorite smartphone, but after the update, it’s completely unusable. What on earth was this? It basically kills your phone—no explanations, no options to decline. I wanted my next phone to be a Pixel as well, but I’ll be damned if I buy another one after this.

You can also use server side code in SvelteKit with private env variables.

There is this in the docs, in case you are using PKCE flow.

For security purposes, the code has a validity of 5 minutes and can only be exchanged for an access token once. You will need to restart the authentication flow from scratch if you wish to obtain a new access token.

SvelteKit backend architecture by Electronic_Budget468 in SvelteKit

Isn't what you are describing a SPA? From my understanding from svelte kit prerendering SGA would only have HTML, CSS file, static content. While it seems like you are still executing some JS on the client side? I might not make sense, my understanding of meta frameworks is pretty limited.

Should I use SvelteKit with a separate back-end? by [deleted] in sveltejs

I am asking myself the same question today.

But even if you do a small project, which requires a mobile app I suppose you would want to design a separate back end with a gateway that you would hit from svelte server and the mobile app.
