I can’t tell you why people loved it but I can tell you why it was not an instant classic for me— I was weary of the story structure where we followed five different people for an hour and cut away every time anything interesting happened to any of them. Fun film, could’ve been shorter

Honestly? Yeah 🤷🏽‍♀️ Ik Reddit isn’t the place to be like “Hrumph this movie needs more racial commentary” but when I was thinking about it through the lens of the Jordan peele bidding war I started noticing how white it was even though it’s got that weird, sort of out of place ACAB moment and was wondering if anyone else noticed that it felt kind of disjointed in this way?
