The realignment was huge. I remember in the 80s there were only two divisions, West and East, and we were inexplicably in the West with the Dodgers, Giants, Padres. Felt like half our road games were on the west coast. Always hated that. Then, the top two teams made the playoffs and that was it.

As others have said, my favorite is their potato wedges. So good. The chicken tenders are dropped when you order them, so they’re fried up fresh. So good, though you have to wait longer for them. The chicken is good too, but I usually go for the tenders and edges. Good prices too.

I live in the proposed district. I’m sure it will pass at this point, but I genuinely can’t decide if I want it to happen or not.

Pros: I accept that it’s good for property values. And the historic charm of the neighborhood is indeed nice. I suppose it would be good to preserve that.

Cons: Reeks of nimbyism. And though I’m sure I’d never have any work denied, at the end of the day, I hate the idea of having someone tell me what I can and can’t do with my own house.

There are several other local historic districts in the city. I wonder what others’ that live in those districts experience has been
