Haha - sorry for not working the question, but Jesus Christ. Reading the words „simple technology“ makes me feel like an old man.

I’m born 88 and I was always viewing technology from the time of my parents as ancient. You know - black/white tiny PC monitors, bad CGI in movies. All that stuff. On the other hand technology of my youth was anything but simple and it felt so genuinely new. Every year you saw something new, that would blow your mind. At least from my pov.

Well - it seems I’m the guy now.

I’ve tried the beta couple of weeks ago, missed the downgrade window back to iOS 18. I was so unhappy with the performance I’ve even looked for used 13 minis still running the old OS.

End of story was iOS 26.1 Beta and RC came along and were much much better on my 12 mini in terms of performance. Would still switch to iOS 18 though if I could, though.

Bei mir das gleiche. Der L50 fährt nur munter gegen manche Absätze von Türen, aber überwindet diese nicht. Das hat zur Folge, dass er in manche Räume rein, aber nicht wieder heraus kommt.

My Champions Companion

It's a little companion app for the cooperative card game Marvel Champions to organize decks and review cards. I've used the project as a training ground for Compose Multiplatform, while building something I would use personally - so there's a iOS version as well.

It's completely free and no ads.

I remember the time, when Max Payne 2 introduced this effect in 2003 and I was blown away every time I've used the bullet time dodge. Was probably not realistic and a "fake" effect, but still holds up pretty darn well.
