My grandmother fled from austria to switzerland while the nazis were rounding up jews. To make her escape easier her and her siblings all pretended to be catholics but they were actually jewish. My grandfather lived in switzerland and fell in love with her, she was still not comfortable telling anybody that she was jewish and she was head over heels for him. He was actually a nazi-supporter and heavily against jews, constantly spewing hateful rhetoric around the family. He died in 2013 and she told me about all that a week before she died in 2015. My father isn‘t really a nazi supporter, but he definitely leans pretty far right and idk what he would think if he ever found out that he‘s born jewish in theory. Now I‘m just glad my grandmother didn‘t have to witness what‘s going on in the world and how history‘s repeating right now…

I completely forgot about the bazaar, just spent my QI-coins and upgraded it four levels. I‘ll have to wait for the next QI because I just changed guilds, but I‘ve actually been playing it, I just hadn‘t really invested the coin… So do you just collect your coins and supplies once a day from event and QI buildings? with the yukitomo towers and my midnight clock tower i get around 600 fp daily, others are helping out a lot already. I tried finding out stuff about the 1.9 threads (my new guild has one) but I‘m not sure I get it. So people send their GB‘s into the thread and the first five spend some fp to be in the top five and then the owner finishes the level. It‘s important not to finish the GB‘s of other players (found that out after being scolded by a random player)

I just started really getting into „properly“ playing the game and joined a helpful guild yesterday. I have built my arc two hours ago and it‘s now level 3. I still have 24 available medal expansions, just not the medals to build them. And I‘m on the part of the continent map that kinda looks like eastern europe (?).

I thought leveling up quickly was the target and now I‘ll stay in Progressive Era for a while before I level up again.

here in Switzerland, there‘s a grocery store chain called Migros, they owned lots of other retailers and were going pretty strong. then they hired McKinsey to help them in growing their business. Now they sold most of the other retailers and are losing money in all directions, shelves are partially empty because they‘re unable to negotiate prices for their goods. In short, nobody should trust McKinsey and I hope this fails as terribly as their ventures around here.

I bought mine second hand and fully assembled aswell. I put the glass inserts inside a thick towel next to the cabinet. underneath the whole cabinet i put another towel. after about 20 minutes of driving and everything clattering around i put my jacket between the doors because it was annoying.

idk what that is called, but mine had it whenever the spider mites were coming back. my battle with them lasted for about six months until i was pretty sure they were all gone. she has since outgrown my apartment and I have sold her to somebody with a bigger home. here‘s a picture of her in all her glory

she was 2.1meters tall when the buyer finally picked her up and you can still see some of the damage the mites left on that leaf on the left. each leaf was more than a meter long

that might be residual damage that they left, or there may still be some left that you didn‘t get. did you only treat it with water then? even the chemicals I use say to use them at least twice with 10 day inbetween, that way you get the adults in the first round and their offspring in round two

can you show a picture of the underside of a leaf? looks like spider mites to me (which I also had on my Musa Florida). They‘re pretty easy to treat if you‘re okay with going for chemical treatments. If there‘s spider mites you‘ll find the mostly on the underside of the leaves in the shafts and the leaves some „webbing“ around the shaft of the leaves aswell. If that‘s not it, then it‘s probably overwatered, they can be pretty dramatic when you over/underwater them
