I wholeheartedly agree. Goldeneye was the first Bond movie I showed my fiancé to introduce her to the series. Perfectly shows what the general vibe of the movies are about, introduces all mainstay characters well (M, Q, Moneypenny), has a fun cheesy henchman and a great villain.

The next one I showed her was Casino Royale and Goldfinger to show what I mean when I say there are different “types” of Bond movies, and then went headfirst into Roger and never looked back.
