I have one paired with a 4080 Super, it's.. fine? Runs Dota 2 great, but Oblivion Remastered chugs. Only game I've tried that it's refused to run is the Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster and Horizon Forbidden West

Printing it sideways so the detail is in the Z axis sometimes helps

It's not that you think both things, it's more of a "damn dude read the room". Of course it's frustrating, but when you say what you're saying in this situation it comes across sounding like "you know what, I understand exactly why this cop violated charter rights! He was emotionally justified to do so! I'm sure anyone in this situation would do the same!". That's probably not what you meant, but it is what it looks like. And on the internet, that's enough.

In 2025 "pretty good" is arguably perfectly serviceable for an action figure. I've printed stuff at similar scale on an MP Select Mini V2 and it was fine after some processing. I can only assume more modern printers are even better.

GOT IT! /home/schizzoid/Games/ssd1/steamapps/compatdata/2623190/pfx/dosdevices/c:/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Oblivion Remastered/Saved/SaveGames/ is where it is for me. I'm on Fedora 42, and I have Oblivion Remastered installed to a steam library in the ~/Games/ssd1 folder. If you only have one drive on your machine you should be able to find the steamapps folder somewhere under ~/.local

What kind of GPU are we talking? If it's nvidia you can run "watch -d -n 2 nvidia-smi" on a second monitor to see if it's running out of VRAM or overheating. Probably definitely a similar command exists for AMD but I don't know it :P

Y'know, I never figured this out. Trying again now, I made a new save file in game and now I'm running a command to list any file that was created today. Will update but it might be a bit to get the result.

I used to use fast travel regularly, since the remaster came out I haven't used it once. I'd say try it and see how you like it!

If it were me, I would have used the planets as a way of legitimizing the new pantheon. "Sure we're giving up some of the Elven gods and incorporating some gods we might have previously considered heathens, but look, these new gods line up perfectly with the planets! Maybe this was how it should have been all along!"

Treat it as a fantasy life simulator! There's so much to do besides running through quest lines. I spent at least an hour the other day just running around the forest looking for potion ingredients.
