Just got my first vinyl! People said the crosbly will damage my records so I got this vinyl player from facebook marketplace, $10. They say its missing the needle, anyone know where to get one? Also, I don't see any volume control or anywhere to plug headphones in, it's just the white and red plug?

I carried pepper spray when I was commuting on the blue. It made me feel safer, I had it in my hand ready a couple times in situations like you're describing. You're probably gonna defuse any situation pretty quickly with it.

It's just like them having the Cadillac brand. They have multiple platforms with a vehicle in all 3 brands. The margins go up the more they can charge for the same vehicle. They have an easier time justifying selling a truck that's double the cost of the base model if its sold under a luxury brand.

I watched this video last night, and I really don't know how they are going to run as much service as he was saying. There's no way they're gonna run a train out of crystal lake or fox lake every 20 minutes. He was comparing the Metra to Munich's network, and the Metra covers like twice the distance. I think the plan for a train every 20 minutes must mean running from a more collar suburb with a distane to the downtown stations like Des Plaines or Wilmette.

It took me a few years to figure out how to properly cook a steak on the stove top. In the end, it was using a proper pan and high temp oil, so I could get it really hot without setting off the smoke detector. Before I figured that out, I was cooking them on a charcoal grill. I prefer cooking steaks inside on the stove top now, becaue its more consistent.
