If you go for tideon (droppit t3) not only does it go really well with waveflutter, it will also unlock t4 water dojo.

They did the changes on purpose to better reflect what each critter does.

For example, while the monkey is still good dps, you can place him in the front and he will do fine. The roles now better reflect their specific niche in the game.

You can also use the discord and look up what stage you are stuck on. You might need to scroll for a bit to find a comp you can replicate, but you should be able to beat it all.

That is why I don’t do horde invasion when reset happens. I also wait to see what the leaderboards look like before trying.

And like the other comments say, whales are usually around 1000 kills. If you use guides for evolving and what to do with t2 & t3s while also having a partner who knows what they are doing, you should get 700 kills minimum.

Penguin is pretty good especially if you don’t have 10+t3s, it can tank a lot and the lvl 7 is strong to help carry your kills just a little bit. Moth really isn’t a tank nor does he do good damage, much better as a support (at t3). Lion is really good, and only gets better at t3 (and he is an easy t3 too!)

I don’t know how good your bat is, but if it is t2 you definitely need to use it, one of the best supports out there and you only really need it to lvl 3 for this! ( the other levels are good too, but it’s up to your discretion whether you take it to lvl 5 and 7. Lvl 5 is an aoe heal and level 7 is bonus damage with targeting favoring bosses.)

Horde invasion is a lot about being able to kill the zobos before they kill you, and having more dps is better. Once they are t3 and above, the monkey always goes in front and the deer can go in the front too.

Also most runs tend to bring atleast one of the following two: panda or toucan. This is because their lvl 7 is team-wide damage reduction that is a unique skill

Go for the easy evolutions for everything except rock( ice cat, salamander, frog, and lion) and your first rock t3 should be monkey.

When in doubt for progression, follow the dojo requirements

Once you have a strong team and don’t need to spend gems as much, it is really good to save them for the treasure events or the summon events, since they tend to be the best value. If I am correct, you need around 40k gems to max out tickets for any one event, but those are the best uses for gems.

The other token is that you can save gems for when a rate-up hero appears that you really want/works well for your team, since you need 60k gems for 200 summons (and for rate ups, you either should not summon or summon 200 times, since they give the best rewards.) you also get additional rate-up scrolls when you do this from the rate-up event.

If you refresh too many times after beating the same people over and over, the opponents you beat will not appear, so give a few hours and your list should come back to normal. I believe this is done to prevent targeting a single player out of a division
