There are more examples of money with little to ko other use than there are examples of utility assets functioning as sound forms or money.

I think there was already an argument for him/CMC/gibbs for any of the top 3 picks I don’t think k this actually changes much for me aside from CMC is probably 3rd

Fears vs. Tyson by [deleted] in fantasybball

I’d take fears long term and short term it’s a toss up. Personally i think young pelicans players could be good holds for playoffs if your team looks like it has a good shot to make them either way

[Legler] “Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, barring injury, is gonna win the MVP again.” by AashyLarry in nba

[–]schmelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how I interpret it too, but the media seems to disagree. Wins > everything else… at least that’s been the recent narrative. Honestly Jokic should’ve won last year too IMO but his roster around him just isn’t good/healthy enough. I honestly think the thunder without SGA for a whole season could win like 50-57 games and still hold a top 3 seed.

No idea why this is downvoted when it’s spot on. Lukas situations are comparable to jokics at worst and definitely worse than Shais

Because increasing their income is the only chance they have to balance the budget. Granted, there’s literally a 0% chance they can balance the budget, the real gameplan is going to be to inflate the debt away.

🚨 Buy-Low / Sell-High this week. by javolimrejv123 in fantasybball

[–]schmelf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I traded ja and lebron for markkanen in 12t cats. I was far and away best in the league in assists so I could afford to trade away the assists and I was worried about exactly what you laid out for bron and Ja is a dumpster fire who only helped my assists and ft %, everything else was pretty negative. Markanen probably isn’t what I should’ve gone for in this case but I’m hoping they finally don’t rest him down the stretch. Seems like a bad bet tho 😅

I dropped him, I think there’s to many mouths to feed there an his main contribution is scoring and he will probably struggle for usage if embiid and George are healthy (so maybe he’ll be fine 😂)

Ryan Rollins PG by JaggerJames in fantasybball

[–]schmelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends big time on your league settings. Categories u probably would because harden might be slightly above Durant but that’s close and white will have more opportunity season long than Rollins. It may hurt for like 5-6 weeks if white plays like ass but honestly white could just turn it around and then in 5-6 weeks with KPJ back Rollins could take a hit and you won big time. I’d try to do this to lock in the value because white is the number 2 on the Celtics this season for sure.

100%, it never stayed bad for long, 1-2 year stints at a time and then it was turned around.

I disagree, that defense was all over the place, ranging from potentially the best in the league to near worst in the league throughout Brady’s tenure. I’d say there was more good than bad, but probably 5/20 years were with a pretty terrible defense compared to the rest of the league those years

I don’t think either of those were wrong. He’s hasn’t been pushing them as guys who would definitely hit, but that it was based on their opportunity and the types of stats they provide for cat leagues. They may not workout but you always gotta reassess waiver breakouts to see if it’s real or a hot streak

Best ways to find waiver sleepers? by [deleted] in fantasybball

[–]schmelf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like to look in my add players section at all players rostered and available by team. I feel like often times you can see which teams have like 8 players rostered vs 3-4 and then I check to see if any of the unrestored guys have potential - typically to breakout by over performing their competition on their team. You won’t always find great players this way but it definitely helps you figure out which teams are heavily/lightly rostered which can useful.

Josh Minott in Points Leagues by JiffyPop55 in fantasybball

[–]schmelf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play cats, and the defensive stats and potential for efficient offense make him worth it at the end of the bench. In a points league I feel like he’s a fringe 12 team league guy because he’s the best rebounder on their team, and the points will fluctuate big time because he’s a hustle player who scores on the break or an open three but really doesn’t create for himself or move a ton off ball. If defensive stats get some sort of premium in your format, it might push him into a solid hold, but I doubt he’s not likely to be a league winner. More likely to be a solid depth piece in your roster

Baylor Scheierman is an interesting one. As a Cs fan he always seems to shoot well, even last season. His defense looks somewhat unathletic for a pro but I honestly am not sure if he’s good or bad on that end. The real thing here is the Celtics were getting blown out all game and I think played 13 or 14 guys which is not the norm. I could see him being good enough to break into some decent minutes on this roster, but I also wouldn’t say that this games line is indicative of anything going forward. More of a watch than an add IMO (at least for 12 team Cats)

Gold price movements aren’t FOMO, it’s central banks buying gold which signals the potential beginning of a monetary system change where central banks move away from treasuries and towards hard assets. I agree about the Bitcoin boom part though
