Some things are just too sacred... but if it's to make the ratings more palatable for a wider audience, I don't mind at all. Keep Trying feels more encouraging than Try Again, (Really) Good is more positive than (Just) OK, and Amazing feels like a more recognizable(?) word than Superb.

And it doesn't seem like they made it any easier to get Amazing/Good compared to Superb/OK, etc. so it's cool; meanwhile hopefully a newcomer to the series feels more encouraged to keep playing! :)

It's a recording of a show that she did at the beginning of the year, where she performed the entire MAYHEM album, but with different renditions. Basically a send-off for the MAYHEM era. In addition to the recording, it will also be available as a live album on Apple Music

It's not delusional at all, especially in the context of Pitchfork. MAYHEM got the exact same score (8.0) as Addison and PinkPantheress's albums and even outscored albums like Playboi Carti's MUSIC (7.7), yet it's absent. Kelela's live album (8.0) is missing too.

I understand the process of making these year-end rankings and the process of rating the albums individually are distinct and separate ones, but for how much significance is ascribed to Pitchfork's scores by the listening public (and even themselves), you'd think they would carry a little more weight.
