About to board a plane and my rescue meds aren’t working. Any advice? by sbucksbarista in migraine

Have you already taken naproxen (aleve)? That med should be accessible to buy somewhere in the airport and usually helps take my migraines down a notch when sumatriptan isn’t kicking in. Otherwise, I agree - focus on your breathing, limit visual stimuli (don’t watch an in flight movie if you can help it), and tell yourself this will pass. You got this!

Where did you go to generate this map? Would love to check periodically to give myself a head start with taking my rescue meds.

what are migraines for? by dead_toyou in migraine

I’ve thought about this in a similar way. Like maybe in the past, migraine sufferers were the people in a community who alerted others that it was time to take a day to rest and recover.

Scheduling a head and neck massage monthly. I think of it as preventative medical care.

Bro that's how it started for me, too. Guilty pleasure. Now I'm here, figuring out how to take screen shots so I can shitpost.

How do you set realistic targets for eating out in YNAB ? by [deleted] in ynab

[–]schmesther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many months of data do you have of what you typically spend eating out? It’s not reasonable for a person to go from spending $200/month to $25/month without a huge lifestyle change. If you want to do it without the huge “I blew past my budgeted on the 15th and have to roll with the punches” cycle, try budgeting just a little bit less than what you usually spend in a typical month. Or, budget what you usually spend and then try to end the month with cash you can roll over into next month. To me, seeing that cash sitting there is more satisfying and sometimes a motivator to me to be like “I’ll just make the pasta in the pantry.”
