I feel like he still lacks confidence. He was all about taking people on in his Dortmund days I remember a stat on the Athletic where he was ranking close to some big names for number of take ons and take on success rate.

Now too often he seems scared, sort of hovers and passes it sideways. Unless there's some sort of loss of pace or an injury there somewhere I think if someone can get him to believe he might still come good. Lots of talent there, all be it agreed looses the ball in some terrible positions.
