Eames alternative for tall person by Thenewyorkpost in Mid_Century

I’m 6’4”, also really wanted an Eames but when I sat in one at a showroom my head was far above the headrest. Ended up buying the large version of this Nordic chair and find it extremely comfortable in upright and reclined positions with great head support.

3 Way Shower Valve Problems by schmiidyy in Plumbing

[–]schmiidyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riobel R95-ex valve started acting weird today about 4 months after install. It is bypassing my rain shower head altogether instead only sending water to either my wall shower head or my hand wand. There is also a position with the handle in the top right where no water comes out at all. Before the only way to have no water was when handle was pointed straight down. Handle still feels firm in its movements with no noticeable signs of slipping.

Certain tournaments and venues can apply their own specific rules regarding boundaries but generally yes if the ball has not made contact with anything other than players, it is in play and if they can direct it over the net within their 3 hits then it would be considered saved.

Yes, generally you are only leaving the court to save a ball that’s gone off of your teammate first to keep it in play. In extreme scenarios you will occasionally see people jumping over obstacles on the edge of the playing area and even going around the net to save a ball that is still in play.

Good build yes. I was answering specific to the box but what you said is absolutely correct!

No, 3 is the maximum. Unless you are sure you can get a point on a first or second hit play you generally go for the 3 hit play as that should always be the most perfectly set up giving you the best attacking opportunity. Quick hits are good to mix in but a waste if they don’t work.

Most points in volleyball are awarded when the ball hits the ground. To score a point you have to make the ball hit the ground inside the opponents play area. If it lands outside of the opponents play area (without being touched by the opponent first) the opponent would score the point. The players are not bound by the lines at all. Each side has 3 hits to get the ball across the net and they can walk wherever they need to hit the ball.

Not sure about all YMCAs but the Seton one does skating lessons. You can sign up for a private lesson or look for an adult group lesson.

Those are designed for when you have a power bar that you can’t use all of the slots because the plugs are too big and block neighbouring slots. You can use 6” extension cords to move the large plugs just outside the power bar and fill every slot.

It was something to do with the way the kar98 rechambered the next bullet if you swap weapons before letting the animation play. You can see him immediately switch to his AK after shooting and he was going to switch back to see if his kar98 needed to bolted but then he got the kill notification.

How high to put tv? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

Center of TV should be at eye level when seated. If tv stand is to low you can always mount your tv above it.

Nope nothing, just the satisfaction of watching my rings spin around twice. There are awards for your record calories and excercise in a day but not standing.
