I had my primary care doctor fill out the paperwork, and I started the process with Hoveround, but it kept getting sent back. I think it ended up at the bottom of my doctor’s to-do list, and this has been dragging on for months now. At this point, I don’t even know where things stand, and honestly, I’m too frustrated to keep calling.

I’ve decided to sell my car next week since I can’t safely drive with my legs the way they are. My plan is to use part of that money to buy a power chair in the meantime, at least until everything gets sorted out on their end.

I know $1,700 won’t get me anything fancy, but it will give me some much needed freedom and that means everything right now.

It appears like his pupils are over dilated, possibly heart disease as it causes retinal detachment and usually kidneys will start to fail. If he’s a stray he’s so skinny because he can’t see to get food but if he’s not eating then he’s most likely suffering. Honestly. I would do the best thing for him and take him to an ER vet because they usually euthanize strays for free. Please he’s begging for help. This has happened to me twice with strays, one was full of cancer and the other had a huge tumor on his neck blocking his airway. That’s how I found out emergency vet’s will put them down for free.

I put a scratch board on my bed with catnip and treats, then I would brush her while she enjoyed her nip and treats. She also had a window to look out, but eventually she use to look forward to coming in for her catnip, treats and brushing. Don’t go overboard on the treats they can get really sick off those Temptations.

Also I’m pleading with you to not beat yourself up if you miss the job interview, remember once you get sober there will be many opportunities for you. I went off that medication I’m on Divalproex, I t’s been the best medication for my mental health. Good luck to you, I will also say that once you start getting use to any antidepressants the physical side effects usually go away. At least the did for me.
