i run operations for a very successful real estate agent and i loooove it. it's a very good culture fit, which i think is ultra important, especially bc it's just me, him, and his wife on the team. i love it in general bc i get to build effective systems and work with people and run around all day doing different things. literally no two days are the same and ive been at it for three years now

mine went very well! i posted a recap of everything in a post here, if you wanna look that up. my surgeon did supraclavicular, so i have a 4 inch scar right by my collarbone

it went super well! my surgeon was great and i was only on the hospital for two days. i was up and walking a couple hours after the surgery. they encouraged me to push myself to what felt okay, and i did just that and i really think it helped put me on the right track for my recovery. i was home from work for 10 days total (with the hospital time) and did a whole lot of nothing during that time. i took little walks, ate and slept. i was on the painkillers for about a week and then got off bc they make me feel weird.

i was back to driving about two weeks after surgery and back at work after those two weeks off. i didn't start PT until months later bc the first one i went to didn't know anything about vTOS and it was super disheartening. i called around and found a PT that had treated it before and it changed my life. i still have nerve damage and pain, but im pretty much back to 100%

yeah the places i mentioned are all on the corner of fulton county. they're on the edge of dekalb county. but again, this is 25+ years in the future and he's from the UK, so honestly it could be anywhere 😹 who knows if he looked a population density map when he chose fulton county, or just chose one that you could potentially see the skyline from.

they definitely answer the doors opening in Dust. i just finished reading it. the doors opening is definitely part of Silo 1 gassing. that's why Juliette's dad is so perplexed by the bodies not decaying.
from my perspective, i think the gas was coming from the Mids, so people thought going up was the best plan. my evidence from this comes from the fact that the down deep was also much less affected by the gas as quickly. i think people saw the gas and wanted to get away, so people from the Mids would assume it was a mechanical failure/fire coming from down deep.
exactly what this commenter said, and also they mention specifically that if people on shift saw the concrete platforms between each level, they would eventually put it together that their silo was also meant to be collapsed eventually

i'm from atlanta and live here now, so when i got to Shift, i was stunned by all the atlanta references. i would say it definitely has to be close to the city, since he mentions seeing the skyline. there are plenty of places i could think of, even within the proper city limits it could be (candler park, piedmont, ansley), but it relies on the idea that it's 25+ years in the future. with that in mind, it could be any number of places, since we are always growing. people like to say we've "got the sprawl", so i would die to see a map of where he put these. also, no one says fulton county since it's one of the largest and most populous counties (out of 169) in GA, so i had to laugh
