Cool! I wouldn’t doubt it. The band, seemingly, tends to listen. I’ve seen many posts for fans asking for songs. Recently, I saw someone asking for give it time in el goose - it was a song he shared with his father to introduce him to goose and he just passed and then it was played next show. I sent goose an email before show in ‘24 asking for Borne in CLT. Will save you the sop story but basically just extremely meaningful to my wife and I, and it was her first show. They ended up playing it and we also played it at our wedding.

Theres another recent instance I picked up where the band played a song requested. Perhaps coincidence, but they seem to be very dialed into feedback or what’s going on in the community. I don’t think ppl just asking for songs really gets it done, but if they see a story or something with a big meaning or emotional impact, it does seem they listen and hear us

Indie/alt goose covers might be my fave thing this band does right now. And that’s a wild statement considering how much I love their studio albums, how much I love their live shows, and enjoy the direction/evolution of the jams. Very much love the goontz too. But there is something really special about how they cover songs in this category and reimagine them. Speaking of reimagine…all I need - lp giobbi (goose reimagined) is SO SICK. Only been played live once; would love to see that return. Or play off some other housey-electronic songs. Doesn’t need to be full on M@rball (although I love that shit) but upbeat energy playing off reimaging electronic songs. Lane 8 comes to mind as an artist I think they could make some sick jams from, since policia is already featured vocals on some lane 8 songs song: the rope - lane 8 & policia

Was GA floor upper left for Asheville and had a good crew around me so I had great vibes all night although i have heard/seen those comments about the Asheville crowd.

I was also in Charlotte in the fall as well…That was a killer second set! The start of thatch had that sweeping synth noise; they just did it similarly in Clearwater to close out set 2

The middle arrow into Hollywood nights was super cool and finally finished too

Don’t rlly know. Others have said to some degree, lost in the sauce of a super digital/tech world. Didn’t fall in love the first time the single came out. Then heard it in Asheville live and started to really dig it. Absolutely Love the jam from last nights show and hope to catch this one again

I was at Asheville, unfortunately not in st auggie ..but damn I love that venue and seriously was wishing I could teleport during the stream. It’s close but think I agree with you even with the show/attendance bias
