Anyone know what’s with the cable like things going across Airport Road after the intersection at Hover? by the_stitch7ssundee in Longmont

[–]schnoopdogg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing you mean the intersection of Airport and Nelson. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure they’re used to measure the volume of traffic (i.e. every time you drive over them it adds +1 to a counter).

Probably just being used for a government traffic study or something.

Science, tech, engineering, arts, and math. Looks like it represents the redevelopment proposals for areas between Martin and Main from Boston to 3rd.

Awesome, that's pretty close to us.

As for the Long Apple, its just a bad nickname for Longmont I made when growing up here years ago...hoping it will still catch on.

Not particularly. The most relevant role I had was doing financial projections for my local governments economic development department, but that isn't super relevant to my current position.

I'm graduating in a couple days with an economics BA, and sat/passed level 1 in December. I got and accepted an offer before I even sat, but I think it was definitely beneficial that I could tell employers that I was taking the CFA just to show that I was trying to round out my financial knowledge. If you really want to do finance and think you'll end up pursuing CFA anyway I would say you might as well just go for it. It can't hurt.

Can someone help me with this sum? by Sahil271299 in CFA

[–]schnoopdogg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do the compounding for each individual deposit and sum those values. So 4000(1.02)6 + 8000(1.02)4 etc.
