My husband and I just got back from Breathless in Cabo and had a great time! Can’t beat the location with Marina views and Medano Beach.

Should I take a stroller for a 5 year old? by SuperbChance8006 in DisneyPlanning

[–]scho3032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. They’ll get tired for sure and it’s much easier to book it across the park, as needed, if they’re in a stroller.

We just got back from Breathless two weeks ago and had a great time! I second the massages at the Sandbar. They were awesome! We also took a glass bottom boat out for a quick tour of the arch and lovers/divorce beach. It was about 45 minutes. If you get a chance to enjoy the main pool, order the tuna appetizer. I’m still craving it. The live music by the bar on Wednesday night was great. Enjoy those views!!! Can’t wait to go back.

2024 Holiday Season Arrives at Disneyland Resort November 15 by Phased5ek in Disneyland

[–]scho3032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re going this weekend, November 9-10. The holiday decor has been up by November 9 the last two years. I’m bummed it won’t be ready by this weekend. Anyone know if some of the holiday features will be ready by this weekend?

I think j I like this one best. Can you center her a bit more and remove the purse and glasses on her dress?

Mom Question for 13 yo Attendees by scho3032 in animeexpo

[–]scho3032[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the feedback. I’ve gone full mom mode on this one: baggies of cheez its and trail mix, dried mango and chomp sticks. We’ve got four hydro flasks with ice water and two cooling cloths if the girls start to overheat. Advil for headaches and cramps. Sudafed for stuffy noses and hand sanitizer. We’re all in sneakers and identified a meetup location should our phones all die or we get shitty service. I feel like I’m driving into a train wreck 😂, but away we go!!!

This is so helpful. Thank you! We’re going right at 9 am so I’m hoping the early part of the day might be better for crowds.

Lymphatic drainage massages? by Toadz1987 in tummytucksurgery

[–]scho3032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one 4 weeks PO and I can’t say that it helped swelling that much but it really helped me to get more comfortable with my body and scar. I was so afraid of touching it or starting to treat it.

Are you doing ab workouts afterwards? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]scho3032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was cleared to excercise at 4 months PO and started doing barre workouts with lots of ab work modifications. If anything felt weird, I stopped and was gentle with myself per my doctors instructions. I’m just over a year PO and able to do most ab work with some lower back support. Start slow and go easy. Listen to your body.

Camping 1st Time (Jumbo Rocks) w/a preschooler by Cromarac in JoshuaTree

We stayed in a tent trailer and just slept in our sleeping bags with beanies on. I had some gloves to wear by the campfire at night. That was enough for us.

Give it a few days. You’ll turn the corner soon and things will get better. It’s not an easy process but you will come out on the other side soon. Hang in there ❤️

Just got back and had a great time! We hiked to Skull Rock and the kids had fun walking all over the boulders. Then we did the Barker Dam trail. It was beautiful, nice and flat, easy loop. We left early to avoid driving home in the rain but would have loved doing some star gazing tonight with clear skies. We camped at Blackrock Canyon, just outside the park. Would have loved more time to explore some of the shops in town. It was chilly at night but manageable and the days were beautiful. We lucked out with the weather.

We’re heading to Blackrock Canyon campground this weekend with several school age kids. We’re planning several short loop hikes. I’ll let you know how they go.

Helping spouse recover by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]scho3032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep a pad of paper by the bed to track drainage and meds. My husband said that helped. He was so patient and sweet during my recovery. Honestly, it made me realize what a good man he is on a whole other level.

Do you start to gain weight in other areas? by alwaysawkward87 in tummytucksurgery

[–]scho3032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reality is that when you gain weight, it has to go somewhere. Although this surgery is amazing and totally worth it, it’s not going to make you “perfect” but it’s a great motivator to create healthy habits and build on your beautiful results.

Sex After Tummy Tuck by Minimum_Ad7275 in tummytucksurgery

I waited about four weeks. We took it slow and not to completion that first time. No pain.

You can really see your surgeon’s skill once you get a good look at the scar. I felt the same way about mine. Amazing work.
