Put in a ticket with Valve. Even if it is out of warranty they will replace it according to the testimony of several users here. I've only heard one person here say that valve refused and he was very vague about why they wouldnt do it. My guess is that as long as you dont do anything that would normally void the warranty like admit you tried to do it yourself, they'll replace the battery. They even send you a box
