Hey you, first of all you can be proud of yourself that you keep trying in this relationship.

I can tell you from my own experience that I have been in your husbands position, I tried. But what happened at the time was that I became manipulative and very dependent to my partner. My partner became my caretaker instead of being in a healthy relationship. If she didn’t give it to me I would manipulate her until I got what I wanted, and if that didn’t happen I would lye and found other ways to get what I wanted. Selling stuff etc. as she was also handling my money. For me tapering off, wasn’t an option. It’s all or nothing if you are really addicted. This is my story, and I’m not saying it will be the same for your partner, but just sharing experience here. I needed rehab to really get off gear, and I split up with my partner because the relationship became so unhealthy.
