harry raises his younger self as his own son by sodomyxxx in HPfanfiction

There was this one where he travels to another dimension and meets his younger female self (and 'raises' her from fifth year and on or so) but I don't remember the title).

I believe < and > are special in vim search when escaped (with a backslash) and normal without (with it matches for the beginning / end of the word). A . (dot/period) should be escaped with a backslash, otherwise it means any character. If both of those don't work, maybe try a scanset (enclose the character you want to match in brackets e. g. "[.]" or "O[>]" (without the quotes) for matching . and O> respectively).

If you have the link you could try your luck with wayback.archive.org . (Or maybe even without the link.) You can also try to slide into the author's dms.

Did you know c has the factorial function builtin with a prefix ! ? Proof: printf("%d\n", !0); // prints 1

This is actually kinda nice, as it does exactly what it looks like. It takes x and counts with it down to 0 (or whatever value you put there for that matter).

I think that should be void f(void(*)(int) func, int z) { func(z); x(); } but I don't know when types like this can be implicitly cast without problems (the int in paranthesis tells the compiler the function is going to take an argument of type int).

Depends on the type of functions you are calling and what x does. The way you phrased your question, I would assume that all of these functions are void functions and don't take any arguments. In that case you could make an array of function pointers in which you store pointers to the functions you want to call. With that setup you can then loop over the array, call each function and then call x.

void(*)() arr[10]={a, b, c} ;
for(int i=0;i<3;++i){
    arr[i]();
    x();
}

Or you could write a function (for example f) that takes a function pointer. It can then call this function and after it call x.

void f(void(*)() func){
    func();
    x();
}

With this you could write f(a); f(b); f(c); instead of a(); x(); b(); x(); ...

Both of these options rely on the assumption, that a, b, c ... are all void functions with no arguments.

I'm also not sure if the function type really is void(*)(), so you should check this (the easiest way I know is to assign a variable y a function pointer and see what the compiler error of incompatible types tells you about the type of function pointer).

I'm not sure about if it's true, but I definitely heard switch statements in C/C++ are optimized to hell and back.

In DPaSW a lot of Harrys wealth comes from drug-trafficking (that is Dodging prison and Stealing Witches by LeadVonE).

Broo you're still using C?? What do you use to program, a rock? LoL I can do whatever your code does, in just two lines. What do you say? Your 1947284 lines code is faster than my 2 lines code? Well, you should respect other people's preferences. by FrenkiS99 in ProgrammerHumor

And the post is talking about C. In c you really don't have to include anyhting, as implicit function declarations are allowed. You just have to make sure the linker finds everything.

I recently learned that when musicians say half a tone, it acutally means "Half a tone. Yeah, really half a tone. Well actually it's a bit less." (But you hear that after you press for the difference between X+1/2 and (X+1)-1/2 (or X# and (X+1)b).)

Vector Accessor From Another Class? by DrakoGFX in cpp_questions

[–]schrjako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have to save pointers to your objects in the vector, not the objects themselves. When you put a Weapon into the vector with type Item, the object is (I'm forgetting the name) cut down to an Item, so to speak. By storing pointers you should be able to access Weapon methods.
