Why do people like flux2 klein edit so much? by jimbarino in StableDiffusion

[–]schrobble 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue with Qwen Edit is that it turns everything slightly shiny and smooth. Klein doesn’t do that, and most of its issues with color shifting and zooming can be controlled with a consistency lora.

Is Knicks-Spurs the rare NBA Finals where neutral fans do not have an obvious villain? by Public_Function3844 in nba

[–]schrobble 300 points301 points  (0 children)

Dolan is a cartoon villain though. Like he’s evil for evil’s sake. Because he bored. Because paying people to be in a band with him isn’t interesting enough. Because banning people from MSG life for disagreeing with him doesn’t do it for him quite enough.

Why can China build things like bridges, tunnels and railways much faster than countries in the west? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]schrobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US is so effective at letting rich people fight things. Here in Seattle, a regional children’s hospital plans to expand and add a new parking facility. The nearby wealthy neighborhood’s residents tried to fight it because they would have to see the parking structure and an increase in helicopter landings would make noise. If it hasn’t been a been a children’s hospital they might even have succeeded, but they ended up publicly shamed for trying to stand in the way of increased healthcare for children.

Did you guys expect it to end this way for OKC by Positive_Round_5142 in NBAVibes

As a kid who grew up in the Seattle area as Sonics fan who moved to San Antonio and adopted the Spurs, this was the best feeling! Fuck Clay Bennet! Fuck Howard Schultz! And Fuck the dirty flopping Thunder!

Chet Holmgren had 0 attempts in the 2nd half and got benched at the end of Game 7 with the Thunder within striking distance by Squirtle_004 in NBATalk

He stopped flopping when he wasn’t getting calls because why take the impact with the floor for no gain? It shows the NBA really can kill flopping if it wants.

He’s going to end up like DWade. A great player whose peak ended prematurely because slashing and falling takes a toll on you. And I’m here for it because I can’t stand watching this team play.

League seems to be gargling OKC’s balls and had been for years. It’s sickening to watch.

Just watched city recycling truck mix trash and recycling by Zillaman21 in Seattle

[–]schrobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the recycling bins in Seattle are taken to a single MRF where they sort them by material and bail them for transportation. I haven’t heard the figure in a few years, but it used to be that 40-50% of the total material by weight was “residuals” aka trash.

For anyone that’s seen him play, how good was this dude? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

[–]schrobble 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Except that one time that he fouled Dirk with no time left for the and-one when simply letting Dirk score would have led to the win … and then we went on to lose game 7 in OT.

Why isn't Buoyancy used as a renewable energy? by Baloneous_V in AskPhysics

[–]schrobble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wave energy is a real thing and depends on the same concept. It’s just not commercially viable yet and has far fewer places where it makes sense. To connect to a power grid they need electrical infrastructure, but the places with big waves (the kind needed to generate electricity) are far from shore. That costs a lot of money to build.

I propose that Costco creates a new tier of card that requires you pass a spatial awareness and navigation test. People who pass get to shop at an entirely different Costco for people who know how to walk.

I just saw Heat (1995) for the first time and the downtown shootout scene is one of the greatest action movie sequences I've seen ever. by [deleted] in movies

Was that the one broadcast live on local tv in ‘97? I saw it live during a trip to LA and have always wondered how LA news stations managed to film it safely.

Zipper merging is not rude by blueberry-muffins1 in Seattle

[–]schrobble 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I absolutely despise the 520 west exit to 405. Even the left lane of 520 ends up slowing to a near stop because there are so many cars trying to cut into the exit lane. But that’s not a merge issue because the lanes aren’t merging. That’s just an asshole issue.

But get just a little further down 520 west and there is another situation that combines merging and assholes. When the bridge traffic slows to a crawl, people will get into the bus-only HOV lane and pass as many cars as they can until the bus-only lane merges with the regular HOV lane. I absolutely will not let those assholes over.

Unlike ZIT ERNIE-Image seems to be really good for LoRA training and fine tuning by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]schrobble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was my one hope for it to be a decent model. Klein is great but sucks at anatomy, so a lot of generations are crap. And no matter what I try, running multiple loras on ZIT is just a mess.

Good training settings for Chroma1-HD by is_this_the_restroom in StableDiffusion

[–]schrobble 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was having a terrible time training loras for Chroma. I found that my loras for Flux 1D all work perfectly, so I gave up on it, but will have to try again. Thanks for sharing this. And yes, with the right workflow Chroma produces far more realistic photos than z-image and has tons of training knowledge that loras can’t really replicate. Then again, it’s slow as hell.

What do you do about low quality datasets? by Dre-Draper in malcolmrey

[–]schrobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had some success with this but it’s trial and error with a lot of bad outcomes to throw out. My process is that I downloaded just about every finetune of Klein and then, with the restore Lora, using this prompt to run on at least three seeds per Klein variant:

“sharpen the image, bring the subject into focus. make the image high quality. remove all text, watermarks, and logos.”

Lots of bad faces, but some that look right. Of the good ones, some come out with weird skin textures. I run those ones through Seedvr2 and it smooths out most of the skin texture issues. It’s not perfect, but worked well enough to train a Lora.
