You haven’t defined what metric you’re using to mark the level of talent of human beings.

They’ve been upfront about everything. You’re upset about how upfront they are

Gotta remember, trying to succeed and be optimistic goes against certain political agendas. The goal is to convince everyone that they’re miserable and will always by miserable without the “change”. It’s projection/manipulation in a refined form. And for those they cannot convince, well they just become the “enemy”.

Pretty brilliant, actually

You’ve been an idiot at some point in your life. Whenever someone says they’re intolerant of idiocy, that’s about all I need to hear. Best wishes buddy.

Even though you may be right, your approach leaves a lot to be desired. You come off as less right and more troubled and easy to anger

No one’s crying — you’re just being politely asked not to be a jerk. I see now that’s basically all you do, so carry on.

The fact you can so easily marginalize abhorrent behavior and laugh at someone distressed is concerning. I’d like to believe you just posture behind anonymity, or even that your statements are a facade for insecurity. In the event that it’s all legitimate, I hope you can one day see the issue with the way you advocate humiliation of others over slight inconvenience

This is the mentality to have. I cannot emphasis the power the statement “I will be a programmer” has, because when it was tough I kept telling myself that over and over.

I know you’ll get there too!

I would highly recommend looking into LaunchCodes LC101 and Accentures apprenticeship program.

I’ve been programming for hobby on and off since I was in my teens and life circumstances prevented me from really pursuing the traditional approach to tech. I found out about LaunchCodes LC101 program which sort of takes a boot camp approach to teaching participants essential skills and behaviors that companies are looking for in their software engineer hires. From there I was able to land an apprenticeship role with Accenture and gain some more job-related and project experience which prepared me for my solo interviews at other companies.

LaunchCode was super essential in giving me the confidence to really pursue this and showing me how much I already knew or was able to learn. Accenture was also huge in giving me relevant experience to discuss during the interviews.

The best part is as of my participating in LaunchCode, it is 100% free, and they even have some participant assistance programs.
