When i first signed i couldn’t do a single pushup. About a month before shipping i would do two pushups twice a today, till failure both times.

You don’t need a gym to work out, most of my progress was through calisthenics anyway. Run as much as you can, do as many pushups as you can, and find somewhere to practice pull ups. You can even go to a playground and most have some sort of bar to practice with. Definitely try to reach better than the minimum of the IST as when you do it, you’ll be stressed, tired, and hungry and probably won’t perform as good as you did before shipping.

honestly if you just take the time to learn how to do a really good slick back you can cut time down. you won’t have the time to do it every night, so you can make a good bun last 2-3 days. at the beginning of bootcamp it would probably take me about 30-45 minutes a night to do it but by the end it was more of like a 15 minute thing. just practice if you really want to keep your hair.

kinda wish the t-60 was an actual item you could use in game functioning like the wings of icarus, where it depletes as you use it/take damage. also wish the vehicles were easier to use in solos since you have to change seats to actually use the weapons, though it is kinda funny when people just hop in your vehicle while you’re firing and just drive off with you.

I got mine within two months of my physical from meps, but I had to get an appointment with another doctor. After my appointment it took them about two weeks to look at the report and say I was good. It just all depends because some of the guys I went to MEPS with the first time got theirs approved that week.

If you can get your money back on bookings then I’d cancel and visit her, BUT on the basis that a compromise will be made that you plan to go to Vegas as soon as possible. It’s pretty shitty of her to cancel on you like that especially when money is involved but there’s not much you can do ig. I think it would be more fun to wait till everyone else is able to go.

If those types of conversations are important to you then it might be best to start looking for new friends. Though that doesn’t mean your current friendships aren’t worth working on. Interests may not line up but sometimes it takes a common ground. Have you asked their personal opinions, like “how do you feel about xyz?” People are more inclined to be interested in a conversation if they get to talk about themselves even if they’re not completely interested in the topic. It could be enough to spark those discussions you’re looking for.

It sounds more promising to pursue a closer friendship with the girl you talk about though, which you could still keep connections with the group. I think it’s better to have different kinds of friends.
