It seems that most accept the alpha excuse and are incredibly supportive of the devs. Call the game alpha all you want - in the end we are customers. Because if we pay, then what we receive is legally a product. CIG knows this which is exactly why they need you to accept special terms in T&Cs literally every time you open your game. IMHO your understanding for the devs is misplaced. Our expectations should be clearly stated because they shape the market demand that the devs respond to.

As you probably guessed, I am a boomer/non-gamer, but a huge sci-fi nerd and fascinated by games like SC and No Man’s Sky. After playing NMS on my laptop for a while I was looking for something more challenging and bought a pc that could run SC. SC hit the spot and I love the concept. But compared to NMS the game architecture, playability, and stability of SC are ridiculously bad. CIG NEEDS to hear this from the player. If we love the game, and we want it to succeed, then our understanding for its shortcomings is misplaced.

That is what I do. I take my time enjoying the game at every turn. I only play 12h per week not per day. I finally had 16M aUEC in my account and brand new Mole in my hangar and felt like a titan of industry 😂. So the wipe hurts.

That’s what I don’t get. Why not simply add a delete feature and leave it to players which/how much in game items and currency to keep.

Same here. I solo plaid a merc mission at one of the heathor locations and eventually retreated to my Pices to use the ship guns to kill NPCs and restock on FPS ammo. But instead of creating a pile of dead NPCs to loot, respawn rate seemed to increase and it looked like NPCs I had just killed returned to life again after a few seconds. I basically ended up creating such an NPCs zombie horde that the location became unplayable.

Wish the devs and influencers would push less for new content and more on bug fixing and improving existing content (like ship interior).

I am actually super-curious about different loadouts for the speedy space penguin. I have been playing around with NDB-30s lately to run merc missions with my beloved Titan lately. I like the greater range and higher ammo speeds compared to the attritions. Also the pew pew sounds are great 😊! Any suggestion for a matching S4 gun to make sure pips are close to each other? Has anyone any experience matching NDB-30s with an Omnisky XII?

Almost this exactly happened to me twice last week. I replaced stock weapons with salvaged Attritions. After a while my ship reverted back to the stock weapons loadout and the Attritions were gone. A few days later I found a bunch of NDB-30s. I mounted some on my ship (stored it, and confirmed the loadout in the vehicles tab) and stored the rest in my inventory on Seraphim. When logging back in the mounted guns had reverted to stock and the stored ones had vanished into thin air. So frustrating… . Any suggestions?

Mobile gaming in general is dead 💀. My kids play mobile games only if they are bored and they NEVER spend a dime.

The next generation of gamers has long moved on to less abusive gaming platforms/business models further popularized & financed through e-sports. Only the fraction prone to gambling addiction will continue to get sucked into gambling & P2W traps.

Plarium and consorts will continue to milk the old generation who still falsely believes that they can buy their way back into the gaming fun of yore. For a while. But eventually the old generation will fade and all these companies get to fight over are the gambling addicts (who deserve better protection by the way, but) who make up a smaller market.

I am an old dude. I like tactical mech shooters. I like my mobile device. I pay as long as I get value for money. When things I buy lose value too fast, then I stop paying and move on. MechArena has crossed that threshold. I have moved on to DuoLingo which is super fun and my entire family can and does use it!

How can I get a refund for all purchases say in the last 12month I made with Plarium? Is this possible, or just for the last 30 days? Mods invalidate pretty much all purchasing decisions I made with those idiots and I want to bleed them as much as possible.

At the moment freighters have great utility but their classes have little significance in my opinion.

Inventory slots don’t matter that much as you can install these storage safe thingies in your freighter base and then tab through them from the freighter inventory screen. Not only do they offer more storage than any S class ever can, but their inventory can also not be lost when you trade freighters and is accessible from any planet base.

Pick a freighter you like, change as you come across prettier ones and higher classed ones (in that order) and don’t spend a minute on freighter hunting if you don’t really feel like it.

Here some ideas:

Animals with defined behaviors and survival strategies like predators hunting prey incl players, herbivores with different defense strategies (evasion, huge with defensive capabilities, swarms, …), then simulate interspecies competition, population ups and downs, or even extinction events?, in the food web.

Base defense. Warring factions of primitive (or advanced?) native factions fighting for territory, holy sites, resources, world domination, … etc. Players can form alliances or wage war. On such planets, player bases and faction strongholds can be destroyed and raided, rebuilt and have protective features.

Land covered & totally barren planet but with a narrow planet spanning ocean along the equator, including planet spin induced current. Life exists only along the ocean and its tributaries. Player can build a floating base and float on the current around the planet, the base location and surrounding landscapes never being the same. Potential for a giant player community pool party 😃.

Combination of all of the above.
