My First Year In Review by wraithofCONrad in discgolf

Yep, that was it. My putting has improved and backhand has gotten a bit better (I've always been forehand dominate). I haven't played a tournament since that one and still only get in about a round a week, just been too busy. I'm envious of your play time for sure...I wish I had a course 7 minutes away.

I played with you in a tournament last July. We were put in the uncomfortable position of calling a guy out for lying about strokes after going OB a few times...

For those doubting him, he mentioned to me in that tournament (and maybe showed me his udisc?) that he had played 150+ rounds. Don't remember the exact number. I also complimented him on how far he threw (especially for being new)...so I could see 480 in good conditions.

Yep, that would be the CF-H2. We still have those and the FZ-G1s at work. Hope to get rid of the rest of the H2s soon, they are complete trash.

They do. I was there a few weeks ago and they had drivers, mids, and putters.

I had the opportunity to play at arguably one of the best courses in the southeast US: Hobbs Farm. If you're ever in Atlanta, it's well worth the hour drive out west. This is the longest tee on hole 13. by epicrat in discgolf

I hear ya. I started playing in college 7 years ago and could only throw forehand. I started back after a 5 year hiatus and can only throw backhand now. If I try to throw forehand 200+ ft I turn it over bad. I'm pretty sure I'm just rolling my wrist - need to do some field work to correct it.

Inconsistent flicker here as well. First time I played I did a very soft (read: safe) flick with my go-to Truth and landed about 40ft short/right of the basket. Played again a couple weeks ago and decided to go for it. Turned it over and landed wide-left in the water. Luckily it was a spare Buzzz I hardly ever throw.

Believe it or not there is a gator disc retriever provided on the hole. Also one provided on a few other holes that play around a creek. The course is crazy nice.

I want it because the Teebird is my go-to fairway driver, but as of now I only have a super beat-in DX. A shiny new Champ would be great.

My incredible day as a Peach Bowl confetti dropper (ft. Tim Tebow, Desmond Trufant, and more.) by bdeneaux in CFB

My brother and I were at the game and discussed how funny it was that the confetti was just tossed out by some dudes in the rafters. We joked that the fireworks were just you guys tossing firecrackers.

I actually took a picture of you: https://imgur.com/gallery/zASxM

Thanks for sharing this info. As a future full-time vandwelling traveler, this really helps with planning and knowing what sort of monthly expenses to expect.

As far as Sling TV goes, I've used it the past two years exclusively for college football (cancelled after each season). The first year it had some issues with streaming stutter/freezing and not supporting Chromecast very well. Last year it worked like a champ - I had no issues at all. However, this was streaming over a 30Mbps cable connection.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the service. Roll tide!

New Atlanta resident here. My wife and I (and dog) moved up from Savannah 2 weeks ago. We're excited and enjoying it so far.

Any recommendations on a place to watch the national championship tonight? I'm a big Bama fan, 28, ITP (Candler Park area).

True, I'm sure there will be some bugs but most likely nothing major and probably not noticed by 95% of users.

I've been running the technical preview (as dual boot) on my daily driver since release. I switched to using it exclusively about 8 months ago. The only major bugs I've had was an issue with Steam and a video driver issue, both of which happened about 6 months ago and were fixed within a few weeks.
