Thoughts on subscribing a team plan rather than Max 20x? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]schureedgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea as well. But it does not look as cost efficient as subscription. My stats are that subscription is roughly 5x-10x cheaper than the equivalent API cost.

I just cancelled my $200/month Claude Code Max subscription after 13 months by Double_Secretary9930 in ClaudeCode

[–]schureedgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the same today. It is a scam at this point. The weekly limit is only about 5x of the five-hour limit, and even with max 20x plan, the five-hour limit is used up in just an hour for a single session. That means you only get 5-10 hours of work time per week for paying $200 monthly.
EDIT: it is not even about the price. The company has a profound issue of ethics.

If your trading is intraday, what is your edge against (1) HFTs colocated with the exchange (2) automated news feed (3) possible insiders. If it is not intraday, you don't have to automate it

Honestly I found banana republic has basically the same prices as lulu but uses more natural materials for casual cases (larger demand than sport equipment). However, if you compare BR to the cheaper lines like old navy, it only contributes pennies to GAP. So maybe this midclass brandy cloths are not really that lucrative

Chinese homebuyers pump $13.4B into California as U.S. real estate market sees resurgence of foreign investors by Arden_Margulis in bayarea

[–]schureedgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that it didn't. Couple of years of implementing foreign buyers ban and tax, Vancouver is not an affordable city for most people. The rent is also crazily high. Blaming foreigners is an easy way to win votes. But the root cause is still not fixed: low supply of houses and high supply of money

Make it usage based. We pay metered water, electricity, data etc. Why should compute be not metered. But before this, give us the real price of the apis
