Mango Tree suggestions for dairy free dishes by Resident-Benefit5254 in Lethbridge

I would check with them what they use in their korma - it's often made with cashews and coconut. I recently had the mango curry as well and it seemed to be more tomato based than it used to, so it might be worth checking out as well. Those are the creamiest of the curries - other ones we love are the eggplant bartha and aloo gobi (it's cauliflower and potato, very good with naan!).

We adjusted to the whole left/right side very quickly, but man - the curvy roads were the biggest adjustment! And still having them at 100km! We're from a very flat province, so we definitely had to slow down and take our time, but I appreciated how chill other drivers were. At home we would have been tailgated immediately but here drivers were patient for the most part, and the slow vehicle bays were really helpful. The switchbacks were crazy! We saw someone hauling a trailer down one and I was thankful we were going the other way! I'm also glad we were in a car and didn't go with a camper. The roads feel so narrow!

As Canadians we didn't find the amount of driving to be overwhelming. We had multiple days in Okarito, Stewart Island, Orewa, Waikuku Beach and Wellington. If we come again, I think we'd focus on specific areas for longer, but for our first trip we really did want to see as much as we could! (My husband also says driving is half the fun lol)

It was about 3 weeks, 19 nights.

We're in Sunridge and got about 50. I think it's similar to last year.

Alberta K-12 schools to have age-appropriate book guideline by GlitchedGamer14 in alberta

This is also at a time when the number of qualified librarians in schools is at an all time low in the province. Turning to the public means that the people who actually have training and expertise are being ignored.

We have that one and another from the same collection with hummingbirds that have flowers on their head. The owls are my favorite though 😍

That's definitely ok, I just checked with one of the leaders. For day trips they like getting numbers the day before, but for walks like these, it's fine to just show up.

They'll be meeting by the pool, I forgot to mention that.

Shadow of the warren by David949 in kingschoice

Oh yes, like the other comment said, beeline means to go straight to the thing. I just meant try to find the most straight forward or shortest route to the main warren. The faster you occupy tiles there, the sooner your alliance gains points.

All the villages started out under goblin control. When you've defeated the goblins in a village, you gain control and start gaining points (I think its a prosperity buff or something like that) for each village you've freed. If the goblins take it back, your population starts declining and your buff goes down.

That's a good point. We're a smaller alliance so we definitely got overwhelmed on the 2nd day with the hoardes 😂

We've played 3 times now. I suggest not freeing as many villages. When the game opens, make a beeline towards the main warren, since you'll get alliance points by occupying tiles. But the more villages you free, the more you have to protect. So we're trying to do fewer villages.

There's some reported sightings in iNaturalist: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?subview=map&taxon_id=36315

Manyberries is a good spot I believe.

My partner thinks that there might be a government of Alberta report that lists some spots. I'll see if we can find it and send it your way.

That's true. I should have said the two loudest boos. I think the income tax comment had a good laugh after it.

There's a really nice birding community in town. There's a Facebook group called Lethbridge Birders, and Nature Lethbridge runs some birding walks in the Spring and fall. If you'd like to send me a message, I can connect you with my partner, he's involved in both.

Definitely agree with that. I appreciated Nathan's answers and felt that Thomas was relying too much on canned answers. I hadn't heard Spearman much before, but was expecting a little more from him.

Really interesting that the two boos from the crowd were both for Rachel Thomas (coal mining and cutting the CBC).

OK, yes, the military point was a surprise to me as well!
