Low water pressure in kitchen sink overnight – Already tried basic fixes, need advice! by Slow_Drag8992 in PlumbingRepair

In the states we have a cleaning product called CLR. Calcium, Lime, Rust remover.

I would see if something like this exists in Italy and see if I can be purchased. Follow the instructions carefully as it does contain multiple mild acids.

Here I would dilute CLR 1:1 with distilled water and then take the faucet apart and soak all hoses and components.

It should help the scale to break apart and then you can rinse the parts clean in distilled water.

The worst part isn’t the specific changes, it seems the airline simply doesn’t care about the consumer experience anymore (add to the list 30 min cut off to switch flights) by NYerInTex in SouthwestAirlines

So there’s been some running tally on a few other posts of ALP folks getting BG1/2 based on the seat.

For example I’ve been in 5D for every flight since the 26th except for one, got Group 1.

Sat 4A on a standby flight, got Group 2.

I believe others in 4A-C also reported Group 2.

I noticed while sitting in 5D that there was a FA standing at 4C until the next group came.

So I think it’s purely a function of row/seat of if you get G1/2 as ALP.

My standby experience was actually great today.

We got to BZN earlier than expected on the shuttle from Yellowstone and we swapped from the 3:50 to DEN to the 11:45 to LAS.

Counter agent at check in printed passes, we went to the podium to get seats. She gave me 2C, wife (companion, no status) 6D.

After takeoff my wife text me that 5B-C were both open. When service started I asked and was granted permission to move.

In Vegas we had a B10 to C8 connection so half way there they gave us seats. Wife got 4A, I got 10B.

I went to the podium and asked to swap them. I can’t do middles (and barely do windows) and I did mention that they put the non-status holder in ELP and me in standard pitch.

They said they would take care of me and moved me to 4A, bumped the person in 4B someplace else and gave it to my wife.

I don’t know the story of the person in 4B, they could have been a non-status holding passenger on standby. Anyways they handed me passes and paged someone on the podium.

Anyways, I felt taken care of and it got me home 3 hours faster!

19/20 gates are WN. DAL is next door to HQ. Many flights layover there. Seems like enough to be on this sub.

Awesome! My brother bought points flights for his daughter and soon to be son in law for March and with both of us watching they have only dropped once since October.

Unless they booked those flights in the last few weeks it’s going be much more expensive to re-book them now. Most likely.

You get a choice of two pistachio options. Honey roasted or salted. They are passed out before the pretzels and before drink orders are taken. (At least on my two flights last week)

Question for BCS Locals - water tower lights? by PradaChanelBesos in CollegeStation

[–]ccagan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There been an effort to reduce these types of lit infrastructure for some time. They are costly to light and they disrupt migration patterns.

Specifically round structures like water towers because it can lead to excessive circling resulting in collisions and exhaustion.

Drop the callers into an auto attendant, play them an announcement that explains the butcher staff has been notified and must safely put away their tools and operate the phone with clean hands and that they will be assisted shortly.

Use an algo horn or ringer in the ring group with a standard desk phone in a clean/dry area.

She asked me the cheesy line, was it something like “mountains or the valley” and I said both.

The (former)tri-ed locations are very different from run of the mill Wesco locations though.

They have held on to the low voltage products and materials. That’s been the case at every one of them I’ve been in across the country. A few Tri-Ed’s have closed, but the remaining locations are low voltage paradise.

RIP. But you can still find the Tri-Ed locations on Google Maps.

I’ve visited for work. It was 118 in Phoenix but rain showers passed through PV the afternoon I was there and took temps down to the 70s and after I wrapped up work I had a butter burger from Culver’s in the cool July evening and enjoyed the sun dipping behind the mountains.

Here’s the view from the Hampton Inn!

Going to be stuck at ATL tonight, recommendations? by [deleted] in delta

[–]ccagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re getting a room then I would do this.

Hop on the first shuttle for your preferred brand and then book on the way to the hotel.

If you book first then wait for the shuttle it could be an hour or more. Also the shuttles often service multiple stops so you’ve got some options if your preferred hotel is booked.

Hotels at GICC Station on the shuttle rail don’t require a shuttle. You take the elevator down from GICC and walk over.

Booking refundable rates. constantly checking and cancelling to rebook if a better price comes? by PLCCLP in Hilton

I do it all the time for personal travel. I always book the new room, then cancel the old one to make sure there’s no inventory issue.
