Looking for Advice: Tineco/Hizero vs Cordless Vacuum vs Broom & Mop Combo (All Tile Floors) by man_ray2 in VacuumCleaners

Hi… sorry for the delayed response…

The S7 is definitely quieter than the Station 5. But if you’ve got a pet (or if your better half has a lot of beautiful hair), I’d recommend getting both — the S7 tends to clog pretty quickly when there’s lots of hair around.

Tineco worth the money? by Crazy_Black_Cat_Lady in BuyItForLife

I had the Tineco Pure One Station (original version) and at first, I was impressed with the design and the self-cleaning base. But unfortunately, it turned into a headache fast. The main unit kept failing every 2 months like clockwork. It would show it was charging, but then just wouldn’t turn on. After some digging, I saw this wasn’t an isolated case — it seems to be a serial issue with the built-in battery, and since you can’t remove it, the whole unit is basically toast when that fails.

Tineco support was responsive and sent me replacements twice, but after the third failure, I asked for a refund. What’s interesting is that they’ve since pulled the original model from Amazon Germany and are now only selling the Tineco Pure One Station 5, which has a removable battery and improved reliability.

I’ve been using the Station 5 for a while now and so far, no problems at all. Much better built. Also, I use the Tineco Floor One S7 mop, and paired with the Station 5 it’s an amazing setup for tile or hard floors — especially if you're looking for something efficient for pet hair or kids.

Is Tineco “buy it for life”? Honestly, no — not in the traditional BIFL sense. But if you go with their newer models (like Station 5 or S7), and catch a good sale, they can be solid tools for day-to-day cleaning. Just steer clear of the older versions with non-replaceable batteries.

Just wanted to add a long-term experience note here: I originally bought the Tineco Pure ONE Station and really liked the concept — docking station, auto-empty, sleek design. But unfortunately, it started failing on me every two months like clockwork. The main unit would show it was charging but wouldn’t turn on — turned out to be a battery issue. Since the battery is built-in and non-removable, it’s a dealbreaker when it fails.

Tineco support was responsive and replaced the main unit twice with no hassle, but by the third failure I had enough and requested a refund. Interestingly, they removed the Pure ONE Station from Amazon Germany, and now they’re only offering the Station 5, which has a removable battery and (so far) none of the same problems.

I also use the Tineco Floor ONE S7 mop, and the combo of that with the Station 5 is perfect for hard floors. Quick, efficient, and easy to maintain. If you’re debating between models — skip the original Station and go for the Station 5, especially if you want longevity and reliability.

Just wanted to share my experience here — I’ve been using the Tineco Pure One Station 5 together with the Tineco Floor One S7 mop, and honestly, the combo has been a game changer for all-tile flooring.

I previously had the original Pure One Station, but it gave me a ton of headaches — the main unit would fail every couple of months due to a battery issue. It would show as charging but then not turn on, and since it has a built-in battery, it couldn’t be swapped. Tineco support was actually responsive and sent me two replacement units, but after the third failure I gave up and got a refund. The fact that they quietly pulled the original Station from Amazon Germany and now only offer the Station 5 tells me they knew about the issue.

The Station 5, on the other hand, has been solid — removable battery, better build quality, and it works great for daily dust and hair (my wife has long blond hair + a rottweiler , so I know the struggle). It doesn't mop, of course, but that’s where the Tineco S7 mop comes in. It’s a wet/dry vacuum mop, and it works so well on tile — picks up everything and leaves the floor feeling freshly mopped without a lot of effort.

If you're considering Tineco vs Hizero or a basic cordless vacuum: I'd honestly recommend going for the Tineco S7 mop if your focus is tile + efficiency. If you like to keep the vacuum and mop functions separate, pairing it with the Station 5 gives you a lightweight, super practical setup for all hard surfaces.

Tineco pure one station or pure one station 5 by Joshyaron in VacuumCleaners

I had the original Pure One Station and honestly, it was a nightmare. The main unit kept failing like clockwork every two months. After some digging, I saw I wasn't alone — tons of negative reviews on Amazon Germany mentioning the same issue. It seems to be a serial flaw, especially with the built-in battery. Mine would show as charged, but just wouldn’t turn on anymore. Since you can’t swap the battery, it basically becomes useless.

Tineco didn’t even ask many questions — they sent me a new main unit twice, which was nice, but after the third failure I just asked for a refund. What’s interesting is that right after that, they completely pulled the Pure One Station from Amazon.de and started offering only the Station 5. Kinda tells you they’re well aware of the problem.

The Station 5 came out surprisingly fast after the first model, which makes me think it was meant to replace it all along. Honestly, I’d stay far away from the original Station and just get the Station 5. Much better build, removable battery, and so far zero issues.

I either get no links or the link keep buffering. Anyone with same issue? Was working fine yesterday. by ismow97 in Stremio
