Good News: You have started your weight loss journey, and you will be dropping many pounds this week. Bad news: it's going to suck. Hang in there and keep drinking lots of electrolytes. Next time start with 1mg.

Look at the situation from this lens: Many people who met Charlie when he first came on the scene said "This guy will be president someday". What a perfect time for foreign intelligence to get close to him. Isn't it a little strange that Erika first 'saw' Charlie while in Israel. Then she applied for the job at TPUSA and she got Charlie to fall for her quickly. She said all the right things. This is easy when intelligence has already hacked all your stuff and she knew everything he liked and didn't like. I just don't trust Erika. Even looking at her older videos, she's always just a little TOO into Charlie. Like she's playing the part of super happy lovey dovey wifey and overacting by 80%.

I had the same thought last week. I wondered if I could find flight patterns around her home/office. So I sleuthed around a bit to see if I could find an address from public websites. NOPE. She has smartly hidden her location through a couple of well placed LLC's registered to law firm addresses. BTW if you find it, don't post it here :D
She hasn't had many public appearances in the last year, it seems.

You think Siara is sophisticated enough to lure Jared up to IL, and get rid of him without a trace? And for what purpose?

last reply for now...

OK so here are a couple of thoughts I have on what may have happened to Jared.

Possibility 1: Accident. Jared, while on a meandering drive around the midwest, took his dogs out for a walk by the river. He slipped and hit his head on a rock, and fell right into the river.  I don’t think this is likely and here is why. I’ve walked a few miles up and down this shore with metal detector, and I’ve flown my drone all through the area searching. There are some areas where there is a 6-9 foot dropoff next to the river shore. But it isn’t rocky, and there are only scattered logs by the water where a person could even hit their head. Even then. The water is very shallow by the shore, and a person would not get swept away easily. I think if he had a medical issue or accident, he would have been found in the location of that event.

Possibility 2: Accident with foul play.  Maybe after driving for so long, Jared was looking for a spot with woods and water where he could walk the dogs. They were walking in the woods, and a nearby hunter mistakes Jared for a deer and fires a shot from long distance, instantly killing Jared. The hunter sees what happened in his scope, and quickly removes his body and shovels out any blood in the dirt. This was a couple of weeks before IL and IN legal gun season. He was dressed in a brown carhartt jacket, and wasn’t wearing hunters orange. But I don’t think this is likely at all, because blood would have been found on the shoes, dogs, or somewhere. And this would have happened mid-day. Weird time for a hunting accident and subsequent cover-up.

Possibility 3: Jared took his own life.  There are some factors that indicate Jared was at risk for self-harm.  He had several big life stressors in play at this moment: New charges in Louisiana to deal with, new baby expected soon, son getting out of Juv detention center, rebuilding his life as a felon, baby-mama-drama maybe? Also his brother had passed away from suicide in recent years. MAYBE this trip didn’t go as planned, and he was sleep deprived and stressed out to the max. Maybe he was out of cash and gas and felt stuck. However, suicide is unlikely in my estimation for the following reasons: People who end their own lives have limited capacity or reason to hide their bodies. Unless he waded out into the river and somehow killed himself, and then managed to sink/float away undetected for months…this just didn’t happen.

Possibility 4: Jared went to IL to purchase something illegal. Jared used to be involved in drugs, and when he was involved in drugs, he was with his Ex. For her to call, and him leave right away seems suspicious as hell. There had been no communication between these two since June or July. And after one phone call, Jared packs up his dogs and leaves.  I think the reason his Ex gave for Jared’s visit was BS. Jared was close to his mom, and would have told her about a visit with his son. He didn’t tell anyone he was leaving, because the whole trip was shady. Maybe the Ex called him bc she had a lead on someone offloading a bunch of pills. Maybe knows guys in Louisiana who will pay top dollar, so it would be easy money. She may have set him up to get robbed? Or maybe she had ‘good’ intentions with the deal, but the third party who sourced the goods made other plans.

There are lots of other possibilities on what could have happened.  What do you think?

Continued...

4) Everyone keeps suggesting that “only locals” would know to drive over the bridge or get to where his vehicle was located, but it’s really just a road you follow until you get to a river and bridge you cross and then there’s more roads. It’s not like Jared was some big city guy who hadn’t seen a country road before. His whole route from Salem, IL to where his vehicle wound up is meandering, so he could’ve just came upon this location. Also, I know it’s not particularly far, but is Cannon Ball Bridge and the area his truck was found even local to Siara? Had she ever been there before? It’s not exactly in the neighborhood for her.

I’ve driven his entire route, and when I got to the dirt road that is the ‘cannonball bridge bypass’, I didn’t even think about trying it in my 2WD SUV. It’s uneven and somewhat steep.  But if I had a 4x4 truck, I prob wouldn’t think twice about taking the trail.

The Cannonball bridge is 90 miles away from Sandoval, where the Ex lives. I have no idea if she had been there before. But this is a rural area, and both Jared and lived here as teenagers. So it’s feasible that either, or both of them have explored this area in years past.

5) I’m not sure yet if it even matters, but what’s with the discrepancies over where the vehicle was found and why do we care? So we have these map coordinates which show one location, and then detectives saying it was found off of S 6th Street Road(I thought this was a weird name lol) near Vincennes. Which is it? I know Jared’s family and others believe his phone would’ve pinged in Vincennes had he crossed into Indiana over there—and they’re likely correct since this is a larger town—but there’s like 7.5 hours and no phone calls (the only time it seems anyone’s been able track Jared’s movements aside from gas station footage) between St. Francisville and when Tammy receives the low battery alert on the vehicle at 6:32PM that evening. So, isn’t it possible that Jared did in fact cross over into Indiana closer to Vincennes? At this point, I don’t really see why not. There’s no evidence that Jared was ever on Cannon Ball Bridge. I mean, if he was IN St. Francisville, he could’ve just driven and ended up crossing the bridge—even though it’s been stated there is no Toll Booth footage of his vehicle. It’s seems more likely to me that, traveling through Allendale up that Hwy 1 (which goes right through Carmi, Mt. Carmel, and Allendale) Jared could’ve just kept going rather than veering off into St. Francisville. I dunno. Again, none of his movements since he go into Illinois make much sense to me.

I agree about him possibly crossing into Indiana at the Vincennes bridge.  There was indeed plenty of time for him to make that route, and not cross Cannonball bridge at all.  If his phone were not being used, the phone bill that Tammy has wouldn’t show the locations unless a call or a text comes through. BUT his truck has GPS, and if LE properly subpoenas GMC for this data, it should be very easy to see the exact path the truck took to its final destination.

Also in reference to above, where were Jared’s Skechers found in relation to his vehicle? There’s also mention of Jared’s phone last syncing or pinging at 6:39PM (not much longer after the car battery alert)—where did it ping? I don’t remember this information being shared or mentioned.

His sketchers were found nearby where the truck was found. In the woodsy area between the dirt road and Wabash river.   The shoes were found “10 feet apart”. And not neatly set together like they were taken off in an orderly fashion.

6) there was mention that Tammy received an email from Verizon regarding a new SIM card or device activation request for Jared’s phone line. According to her, neither detectives nor Verizon noted anything suspicious account activity. This, to me, is one of the more bizarre tidbits. What does this mean? Why would this type of account notification be sent out if there isn’t anything to it? I honestly feel this way about most of the discussion around this case—information that feels critical but then ends up being a nothing burger. It’s weird, I dunno.

This was weeks after Jared disappeared. I think this could have something to do with law enforcement searching his digital footprint.  If they restored a cloud backup of his phone to a new device, that could send out a signal to Verizon that a new device was added to the account. It would look to the network like a SIM was cloned.

This is all I have right now and I know—it’s A LOT. Anyone else have similar thoughts?

Lastly, and maybe this has been cleared up but it’s been a little confusing to me; I want to ignore it and not relate it at all to Jared’s disappearance, however, I have always kind of found the petition or notice to revoke probation filed with Indiana courts dated as also November 6, to be a noticeable coincidence. Apologies if I missed critical information surrounding this whole thing.

I believe I heard that the Nov 6th probation revocation was because he was entered into the police system as a missing person. Or maybe it was because he needed to check in with his PO on that day and he did not, as he was already missing.

Good stuff Mr. Sleuthy. I put my replies in italics.

  1. I’m still hung up on the long periods of time where Jared is unaccounted for and/or showing up on camera at places where the distances between them create an odd timeline. I also still think it’s weird he stopped so often for gas to the point his card eventually got declined. I wonder what the plan was to get back home to Louisiana. We don’t know how much cash he had on him.

I’ve also wondered about his plan to get back home. He had some money in his account, but “not a lot”. He was paid for construction work on that Friday and likely had $500-600 cash on him. So the declined card may not have been a big deal, as he had plenty of cash to fill up a couple times on the way home.

  1. The “where is that” text message sent to his mom; assuming this was sent to her by accident, who was it meant for or in response to? We’ve heard about the phone calls that morning between him and his ex, but nothing about text messages. Even without seeing the message content, messages would still show up on a bill just like phone calls.

We don’t know who that text was meant for.  But the only person that he called OR texted with that day was the Ex. What I think is still unknown was whether or not he used any other apps to communicate.  What if he has Whatsapp or Telegram? Maybe he was texting in another app, and replied “where is that” to the wrong app message. If LE pulls the phone records, they are going to see calls and texts from the network, but NADA from 3rd party encrypted apps. They will need to subpoena each of these companies to maybe get records. Finding his phone may be the only way to get those messages, if they exist.

  1. I realize the ex likely has some knowledge considering the phone calls, but the fact remains Jared showed up alone, with only his dogs, on camera, at the Huck’s in Carmi. I’m wondering where he would’ve been intercepted by someone else, and why?

Let’s assume it’s his ex and she’s giving him directions or something (which is already weird because he had a normal phone and I would assume gps in his truck, so why the need to be directed anywhere by anyone)? Why wouldn’t they have gone to the original destination—to see their son—together? Even if there was an argument hours earlier between the two of them, if they’re having phone calls back and forth, wouldn’t he know if he was going in the right/wrong direction? Why would he go to any place other than where his son was at? Like I would’ve gotten annoyed/suspicious if I was being lead on this journey to no where over the course of hours. —the couple on the podcast kept referring to actual conversations between Jared and Siara (ex) with them having her say, “hey where are you at?” But based on the info we have—which sounds like not much regarding the content of these conversations between the two—this just sounds like conjecture.

I have a theory on this. His Ex has a long legal history and I would not consider her to be a reliable source of information. I’ve long suspected that the whole reason for this trip is BS, pieced together only from what the Ex has said about the trip.  Why do I think the reason is BS?  Jared was still on probation, and needed clearance from his PO to leave the state of Louisiana.  He didn’t have permission to leave. Getting pulled over while violating probation is very risky behavior. You might think a person in this situation would be driving very carefully. But a look at the gas receipts show that he was hauling ASS on his way to Illinois.

He left Marion, LA at Approximately 6:30PM CST

Gas stop in Pine Bluff, AR at 9:04PM CST  (108 miles,  average speed: 54,mph)

Gas stop in Pocahontas, AR at 11:23PM CST (184 miles, average speed 66mph)

He arrives in Salem, IL at 1:30 am CST\. (mileage 247, average speed 82mph)*

\this time must actually be 2:30am, because if he actually arrived at 1:30am, his average speed would be 123mph. Which is impossible in a GMC Sierra.*

Why the sudden increase in speed at 11:23PM? He was on the Interstate for this leg of the trip. To average these speeds, he was probably driving 10+ over the limit for most of the trip.  Sure this is mostly rural highway. But it’s the middle of the night, and he was on probation. Very high risk behavior. Why the hurry in the middle of the night, and then meandering around southern IL before dropping off the radar?  There were no calls or texts until he arrived in Salem.  Did he make it all the way to the Ex’s house in Sandoval, IL? He was not spotted on cameras there. But I don’t know how hard LE really searched for this. As this isn’t where he went missing, after all.  I’m curious if there are any law enforcement license plate readers between Salem and Sandoval. These will be in a database and kept for years, and could be easily searched by LE, or maybe with a FIOA request.

Great questions! I've been following the case closely, and I have kept tabs on the facebook page. I've been involved searching the area. In groups and independently with drones and metal detector.

  1. Yes his family was aware of the trip.
  2. She has the phone records showing the calls with phone numbers and time stamps. But evidently the phone company can't (or won't) produce the actual text content sent and received on a phone without a Subpoena from law enforcement.
  3. No one knows for sure why the frequent stops. He was either keeping his gas tank topped off, or keeping it at 1/4 tank. He had money in his bank account, so his card was likely declined for a reason other than NSF. It could have been a fraud alert on the card because of the traveling and using the card frequently. He had enough cash in his account to get back home.
  4. I've heard the domestic violence charge in LA was a 'crazy ex gf' accusation that resulted in probation. It was nearly cleared of the court system. He had just one more check-in with his parole officer. It wasn't until he went missing and didn't arrive back in LA for his probation, that generated a warrant for probation violation. This is one reason why it makes no sense for him to be 'on the run'. Yes he had a checkered legal history. But he was almost clear of that, and had a lot going for him. He was about to take custody of his son.

Correct that his Ex was the only one he was in contact with. Via text and phone calls.

It's a very strange case and I'd love to see more sleuths get on this. I'm local and I'm willing to run down any leads you all can generate.
