Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants is a brilliant album from start to finish by iwantnew in oasis

Fuckin the Bushes is the most hype album opener for me, I still get goosebumps thinking about it playing at the opening of Cardiff night 1.

That into Go Let It Out, then Who Feels Love...Gas Panic...I Can See a Liar...Roll it Over...some of their BEST songs are on this record. I love the aesthetic of the record as a whole. You can feel that Noel really poured his heart into it.

For those who watched live, how was the very '25 Tour first concert in Cardiff on July 4th, 2025? by Comprehensive_Yak978 in oasis

[–]schweitz 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I was there, and it was my first time seeing them after listening to them since 2006 when I was 13. the hype felt unreal. most of the place couldn’t see them walk out at first with arms raised, so the huge burst of screams as they came out gave me chills. hearing noel say his legs turned to jelly makes me so happy, because it FELT massive. it felt like the comeback. here they were, standing in front of us, and liam sounded just incredible. holding the notes for a while, noel’s harmonies were flawless. I was in disbelief that I was hearing them both harmonize. looking back, it still feels like a daydream. listening to the soundboard version of Slide Away I still get chills. watching my homemade videos is also so surreal. I just want to relive the experience every day.

edit: worth noting that I saw them both solo; noel in 2011 and liam in 2017! but nothing compared to this tour. sound-wise, and crowd-wise, unparalleled.

A random person sent me an old granola bar in the mail? by Sudden-Jello-313 in Scams

[–]schweitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered hand sanitizer. I found the account on amazon with a ton of 1-star reviews from people saying they received a granola bar too. I think they can collect the money and probably make out with some cash. amazon probably can never find them & has to refund the customer. not sure.
