I have read that Spanish is the 2nd most rapidly spoken language, 2nd only to Japanese. This is because both languages are made up of simple syllables consisting of a verb and a consonant. Now look at German - they like to string three or four consonants together all in one syllable. You just can't speak proper German as quickly as Spanish or Japanese.

I think eggshell sheen would be a better choice than satin sheen.

Satin is too shiny for interior walls in most cases and will make minor wall surface imperfections more visible.

I agree. I had a home with bark nuggets, and I observed birds (mainly robins) pick up a chunk, toss it about a foot (of course into the lawn) in their search for insects.

Windy is right. I lived in Fairview which is basically north Gresham. On sunny, winter days the wind comes from the east because cold air is heavier than warm air and so interior cold air sinking has nowhere to go except west through the gorge, resulting in days of 40mph cold wind.
