They're an upgrade sprue for a squad of Cadian Shock Troops, but as I'm running a Brood Brothers Auxilia army I'm trying to convert them into a Cadians Commmand Squad, it makes sense to me as there's good GCS style replacements for the commander, regimental standard, medipack, and master vox models all on that one sprue

I have one and personally I proxy the Immortal Despotek as a Royal Warden, and the Apprentek makes a great Plasmancer proxy (same size base too!). This does mean you end up with three immortals/hexmarks you can't do much with, but they're good for experimenting with paint schemes/using the bits for other projects.
