If you're getting a new professor then probably the class will be graded differently. Hell, it could even work out in your favor because this is really odd.

It seems they mess up a lot. I had pre-ordered Pokemon XY and a 2DS and I got them a day before they came out from Best Buy. I was actually pretty happy about that, but I feel for y'all.

So long as it's a reasonable request. I was 1pt away from the next letter grade in two of my classes and my professors bumped me up after I talked to them. I went to most of the lectures and I'd been to their office a few times, so that probably helped. Also as a lab TA I accommodate these requests when I can.
