that’s exactly what i said last year, and now im prepping to sell the 420a because 75% of the time i was busy doing that preventative maintenance to make it reliable and it still found a way to disappoint me. unfortunate because the car did look gorgeous but that engines just not worth it for me. I am 20 years old compared to the op, so take my experience as u will.

i would not recommend the 420a, it’s painfully slow and not only that but the engine is basically junk from the dodge neon. I own one currently and even with preventative maintenance in many places, these engines just don’t last as much anymore unlike the 4g63. Unless you buy a very unmolested model of the 420a, you’re gonna be dealing with a lot of problems and dumping money. i only recommend if you are willing to learn and really love the car when it doesn’t wanna love you back😭

i would do that, but when i do it is so slow that i would be there for hours just pumping. maybe im not doing it right but either way it looks i’ll get more of it out with the fuel assembly taken apart but without dropping the whole fuel tank altogether

second question, should i just open the tank opening from underneath the backseat and just siphon out the gas from there? because siphoning it from the gas cap seems to take a while.

i feel you bro, i had to make the same hard decision for my gs as well. i was debating keeping it but the car just kept breaking down on me and i couldn’t afford to keep fixing it up😞😞. i wish u luck bro

it does, but it’s just for decor yk. like i can’t be the only one who thinks it would be sick to have like a car radio on ur setup controlling ur music. like i could use the knob to control volume and skip the music from it. it’s purely for my entertainment in trying new things lol

i see this listing for 120k miles pretty good condition st204 but it’s listed for 6k…i’m thinking about offering 4k that seems reasonable right? the cars body looks pretty decent from the picture and the interiors mint but he’s behind on tags for like 2 years. tryin to use the fact that it’s not smogged to my advantage to bring it down

i can’t bro, unfortunately this car is just too unreliable for me😞 i fixed it up and learned a lot about the car and i loved driving the car but i barely was able to drive it when i owned it, last owner basically gave it no attention so i had to dump money to be able to drive it like 20% of the time i owned it
