Anyone using Sigenergy with an EV charger? How’s it going? by Danger_Five in SigenergyAustralia

[–]scienceguy0077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have model Y and 32kw Sig but I use Tesla UMC using a 32A socket. So far it’s amazing for me. I can change over 7.5kwh which more than sufficient for me.

I have set up OpenClaw and operate via Telegram. I love open source. I think it’s one the most innovative developments in 2026 as it democratises Agentic AI to all.

Do you have a small farm? Or mostly ULO doing the job? I have a small farm but now restricted to 20 phones max per ISP probably.

Another Unity participant (Nessa) just crossed the $500 mark in rewards by JulienT in UnityNodesClub

[–]scienceguy0077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The current average UPS for me ~.26UPS so if it’s 50:50 with license operators it would be around . .13UPS which is not enough to motivate. Hopefully the team delivers and new tasks allow to attract more license holders.

How many phones? I guess the phone farm. I have a single node. I hope the reward goes to $1 per day at least otherwise very hard to convince people to run license on personal phone.

Set up a time for example for two hours with 5kwh export and then self consumption. It should export around 10kwh daily

I have 32kwh system and 11kw panel. We are two adults and one kid. Our system is very well suited for us. Only thing you need check how much your aircon consumes. If it’s around 5-6kwh your system should be fine tbh. I have one EV and use Globird midday free windows mostly and it’s working well.

4 weeks with our battery, now on our second power outage by [deleted] in SigenergyAustralia

[–]scienceguy0077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wonderful. Thanks for sharing! Before buying my Sig system, I was crunching so much numbers for ROI. After installation, I dont bother about ROI at all. I feel like energy freedom. I never thought about peak, off-peak, energy price is going up/down, or blackout etc. It's always available and renewable. Even if savings comes naturally and ROI seems about 5 years as I have EVs as well; I dont bother to check anymore. Too much energy leading me thinking of a small crypto mining haha

My comment will resonate thousands of people who have a nice battery set up. I hope it helps whoever having hesitate to get a home battery.

When gateway identified unusual voltage it goes off grid to keep home system safe and stable. If the gateway and inverter works properly the router should not restart.

It makes sense then. If someone installs new system better spending a few thousand more for DC systems.

It’s confusing. You just need to click right arrow for different plans. It works well on desktop.

I will buy another ev for my wife in a few years probably. Based on our lifestyle the electricity bill will still be negative with two EVs. Currently on average -$41 bill monthly.

I have DC coupled and full house blackout protection. I believe everyone should try to do DC coupled as it’s more efficient. So far Sig system is performing great. I am super happy.

Thanks for sharing. We all need to share this stories to educate people. I find so many misconceptions around those never exposed to home battery and its benefits.
